Shit! For everyone here who lost someone I'm genuinely sorry. I wasn't even in the room when i was told by a person what had happened. NOBODY (not a word passed my lips) knew apart from me and that person who died. We will meet up again. Just not as we expect it to be. thank you for this wonderful song, I think of all the time I've had with my husband, we've been married for 25 years. when we first met I was a single parent of 2 girls and a boy, and he was a single parent of 3, 2 boys and a girl. together we now have 20 grand kids My husd whom is only 55 has had 7 heart attacks, 5 bypass, 11 stents, 2 strokes and a pacemaker/defibulator. crying now love ya all (hugs)

sorry to point this out... prob has been said but Elvis middle name is spelt Aaron, its my middle name. my mum loved him... i still listen to his music, nothing like him, never will be.....

@dingerdowding Actually, it depends on how you look at it. Legally, yes, Elvis's middle name was spelled "A-a-r-o-n". However, to commemorate his still-born twin brother (Jessie Garon Presley), Elvis shortened his middle name to "A-r-o-n", and that was how he always signed it, if he needed to include it.

@Pokechoppah93 Actually, its the other way around. It was originally Elvis Aron. That is how it is spelled on his birth certificate and Vernon and Gladys did that so that it would rhyme with Jesse Garon's name. Later in life, Elvis started using Aaron because it is the biblical spelling.

However, upon deciding to change his name to Elvis Aaron Presley, he discovered that Aaron was actually the spelling of his middle name that does appear on his birth records. (Perhaps a mistake on the departments behalf?) On his tombstone (and birth certificate), it reads Elvis Aaron Presley. Yes, it was for Biblical reasons that he sought to "change" it. It appears that the reason his middle name was shortened to "A-r-o-n" was that the common people in Tupelo misspelled it a lot. I thought that was interesting.. Elvis is quoted in saying, "Well, back when I was growin' up, a lot of people in Tupelo didn't spell right," and "From now on, Daddy, I want my name written with two 'A's, especially on legal documents."
