@chance5651 actually, Cubs aren't pursuing Fielder seriously, but I'm sure you would have known that if you were a true Cubs fan. They never did, because they know they will still suck and it would be a waste of money to sign him to an expensive contract while not contending. Honestly, I'm happy Fielder's gone, cuz he sucked on defense, and we have enough power hitters to get rid of one. If you can pull off a deal w/ him, go ahead. Enjoy happy 104 years of failure.
