Sorata is one of my all-time favorite anime characters and this is one of my all-time favorite scenes in an anime! So tradgic and yet so powerful. And I love that Sorata went down guns blazing for the woman he loved. Outstanding stuff. And even I have to admit the first time I saw this it hit me like a big rig without breaks.

We already KNEW Sorata would die from the beginning... He kept going on about how he'll die for Arashi, so it's really no surprise. The REALLY tragic part is how ironic it turned out. Arashi wanted to help get Sorata out of it, but by doing that, she set up the very situation that called for his sacrifice!

Sheesh, that's heavy! :(

But, well, it's because he knew how he'd die that he stayed happy through everything else. Gonna miss that cheerfulness, but THIS is definitely Sorata's best moment.

I hate this anime and yet I can't stop watching the goddamn thing. Why the bloody hell is everybody dying all over the damn place? I'm glad CLAMP started poppin' those happy pills. I would burn a bitch to the ground if xxxHolic anime or Tsubasa was this bloody depressing.

I just had to comment again. I called it a few episodes back. I said if they played that song when a character died, then I'd cry. They did, and I did. Arashi's face when she was catching him at 2:03 and the way she was crying so hard really got me good :(
