There is not much difference between a Tyros 2 and a Tyros 3, so I wounder what they could put in a Tyros 4 !!!

In the seventies, I had a Lowrey console with 2 keyboards plus pedalboard, I wouldn't mind if Tyros had an easy double keyboard add-on and an optional 2 octave pedalboard.

I would also prefer a better way of archiving songs, Music finder is useless, and a song setting has to be done with registration memory, which hasn't an intelligent archiving.

I don't think MP3 is that important on a musical instrument.

The music can be kept in a 16 track advanced editable midi format, you can record anything in a standard wav format, in the end you can use any low cost program to convert to MP3.

I doubt if there is any interest for MP3 on Tyros.

I would propose Optical sound output, surround simulation, second mini left hand keyboard add-on bellow the keyboard, PC control and a nice SW for quick modifications on PC.

The Motif XS is a synthesizer with no styles, you have to make every thing yourself... The Tyros does have styles and you can make them yourself too...

the price difference is huge: Motif XS7 €2500,- Tyros 3: €4000,-

Wow i loved da sax and trumpets however i was a bit disappointed with the organs, organs being my one of favourite instrument the rotary and leslie effect did not seem very realistic...i dont know if u can control the rotary speed...otherwise i love it, i wanna get the tyros 3!!!:D

Me too i love over all the organ instrument and the organ sound with rotary and leslie... if you listen this video in stereo mode WHIT HEADPHONES, you can listen the great sound rotary!! Of course, this sound not is same that if you listen the Tyros 3 live, the conversion in wmv and in flv make some distortion... :)

Yes, you can control rotary speed!

Anyway, Tyros 2 or Tyros 3 is a good investment, it's value keeps high after many years and is sold second hand at a good price.

I really don't think it's possible to make major upgrades, so I have no idea what they could put in a Tyros 4 to make it worth more than a Tyros 3.
