I scratched the lens on my gopro hd too. I took the lens out of my old gopro wide and replaced it. I was able to focus it in on my television it seems ok. I'm going to test it out and see if it produces acceptable video soon.

I'm new to the hobby, i found one of those 'air hogs' at walmart a whlie back and was like 'sweet!'...it sucked. bad. so my wife got me a mini indoor 3 channel heli and i love it!! i got a larger 3 channel heli and its just as cool! i'm looking to get a 4channel heli soon so i can eventually get something like you have :) nice hot tub

Be warned scratch the camera lens " not the housing lens" and the camera is unrepairable. I found out the hard way when gopro"lack of" support informed me I owned an expensive paper weight with a cool, but heavy housing.

That's why you don't listen to customer support. Just buy a broken one for parts off of eBay, and swap the scratched lens for a good one.

most people hook the camera up to the canopy. that is where the vibrationsa come from. Nice video
