This is probably the most vague instructions to become a werewolf:

1. Join the companions and do as your told till the quest ends.

2.Ask for some work from someone in the companions and successfully complete the quest.

3.Ask for more work and you will be told to visit this geezer. talk to the guy and do as your told and that mission you become a werewolf.

okay im a companion but when i talk to kodlak there is no option to ask him if he is a werewolf?? and i did the proving honour quest and everything.

@MusiikN0w you need to another quest that you ask skjor for. once you do that go back to skjor and ask for work and that will be the sliver hands quest. thats how i did it

After i did the quest to become a companion. then i had to do little side quest i did mine with Farkas i had to rough a person up in Whiterun and i cant find him help!

@Bardiadex you can only do it once a day and you level up extreamly slow so its not even worth it

can any one answer my question?: after Farkas gave me his sword to take to the smith and sharpen it, the guards of white run pass me then they suddenly attack me and i don't understand why? and if i try to defend myself they say bounty added1000 gold.

I paid for my crimes which 35 gold was the max and i did nothing wrong and i am not a Werewolf yet so can any buddy help me?

ok so let me get this straight in the mission proving honour i saw one become a werewolf and i thought it was cool but i want to be one in the game but i know villagers and guards will try and kill me do i automaticly change at night or is it like an optional thing?

Werewolf mode isn't really all that cool. You have low defense and the damage is based off your one handed skill so if your a 2-hander and bow kinda guy or spell caster the werewolf is not for you.
