I have been hunting for 25 years and get buck fever every kill. It is not a lack of experience. It is the kill thrill. If you dont have that than it is like a job.
@fishnkid1923 Because his pins are so far apart means nothing. I use my first two pins for 20 and 30 yards, the rest sit at the bottom of my sight since I will never take a shot past 30 yards. He may have decided to use just one for 20, also a lot of old school hunters use one pin for 20-60 yards since they are so use to instinctive shooting they find one to be better and just learn how to use it for such a wide range of distances.
Buck Fever happens mostly as a result of lack of experience:not because the hunter is having some sort of "rush", or" thrill of the kill",which your comment implied.
@JBodine67 lack of experience? really? I can show you plenty of seasoned hunters with MANY kills under their belt that still shake like a queer when an animal gets beneath their stand. Citing simply a lack of experience is just moronic
that looks like a silent hunter bow?

you know what is really moronic?...some candy-ass with shit running down his leg because he saw a deer.

If you were me,you wouldn't be making love to wombats...
Some yout tube goof said that it would be like a murderer's sick thrill.
Buck fever is not a sick thrill of any kind...
In Canada, hunting is more of a science than that of a western shootout,or filling a trophy room.
We wear our game face and bring home our winters meat.

It must be the same "adrenaline rush" that serial killers gets before they kill their human victims.

Bowhunter Magazine
An article entitled Bow Wounding Losses THE BIG MYTH by David Samuel states:
It is disquieting to know that we probably wound one deer for every animal harvested.
Samuel also states: The only reason I can think of is that bowhunting is difficult, more
so than gun hunting. Some non-thinking bowhunters apparently feel its better to say
that they at least hit a deer than admit they didnt harvest one.
