I saw this and while the choreography was amazing! and it was so cute .. it lacked substance. Which is what Hairspray has. And musicals NEED substance to continue. Crybaby was good, but it was fluff. And all the songs sounded kinda similar :( haha no offense. its a great show! Just not built to last on broadway :(:(

From what I've seen, I think that the Musical is good, but...I don't know...to me it's too cute. The original movie was more raw and a little more dirty, but I guess some things you can't put on broadway. I'm gonna have to see more of it before I can change my opinion

i ADORE James Snyder in BARE...i dont think he was in the show but he was on the documentary plus the album...it rocks...look up Matt Doyle...he is awesome as well

I don't really like how Cry-baby is on broadway. They tried to make it too much like a parody of Grease. So now he just seems like a dumbass like Danny Zuco. He's more of a complete insane badass.

Loved this show so much that I saw it twice when I was in New York. Not only is the show hilarious - the songs and dancing are GREAT and the cast gives you 200%!!! It's definitely a "feel good" show that stays with you. Thank you John Waters & company!

I saw one of the preview performances. All I gotta say is..WOW!! There was so much talent in this one show it's incredible! The songs where hilarious too! Esp this one! I was just blown away with how good it really was. I went to it not really expecting a good show, but I was wrong! It was amazing! I sat by a woman from Spain she said she couldn't understand much, but what she could she loved it! t doesn't hurt that the guy playing Cry Baby is hot! He's really nice too I met him after the show!

Okay, I find it funny that the original John Water's movie Hairspray was turned into a broaday musical and then a musical movie.

I wonder if this would be turned into a movie.

I think it would be very hilarious if Nikki BLonsky was Pepper in the movie (If they made one) because Ricki Lake was tracy in the orginal hairspray and pepper in the original cry baby. Nikky was tracy in the new hairspray, so I think it would be fitting if she was pepper in the new one.

i actully saw the musical a few days ago it was an unbelieveable expirence i will never forget . It was helarious , the music was really catchy 2.crybaby is the best musical ive ever saw ! so people take my word for it go see crybaby you wont regret it !

I saw the show yesterday and i absolutely loved it! The show was awesome,fun,romantic,and funny. To me, cry-baby is a feel good show. It makes you feel good about yourself. :) I met the cast. James Snyder is soo nice and soo hot :)
