my 4 year in high school tells that teachers can do very little with bullying, bullying come in small and big forms but still the same they hurt the bullied.

fix this problem once and for all with out giving real injury to the bully, once you show the bully you willing to fight ,he would stop it.

Bullying can have such a devastating effect on the victim's state of mind for literally decades, that as far as I'm concerned, the victim of bullying is fighting for their life; and in that case violence - even extreme violence - is not just the proper response, it's an intrinsic right to self-defense.

Extreme violence isn't an option unless it's a life or death situation. - and even then other avenues should be sought first if possible, e.g. calling the police. Otherwise you could end up in trouble with the law.

I remember i was bullied back when i was 8 years old. I never saw my bully again for about 7 years, until i was about 15. By then i was already about 5'11" and I was suprised he was only 5'2 or 5'3". I'm now 6'2" and i still can't forget the look in his eyes back then :D

On record: The suspensions (both had 4 days each) are just about fair, as they make the point clear that violence is nothing to be proud of and should not be tolerated...could have been serious injuries.... and fighting fire with fire is not really an option,by own experience...

@Easyjet8810 i dissagree, when you're a boy getting physically picked on fighting fire with fire helps, you can go to the teachers and parents as many times as you want, no matter how many times the bully gets told off by the teacher, it doesn't do anything, the only way to stop bullying like that is to move schools and deal with bullys there as well, or stand up for yourself, they only pick on him because he's too scared to fight back. I'm talking from experience.
