No they will go to a good place. The older dogs will be put down or grieve to death. The shelters are to the max with dirtybutt backyard breeders like this. I have 3 dogs. 2 little ones and a one big one. Its all I can do to make sure they have what they need and to keep a clean living. Any more than 3 dogs it TOTAL insanity and its not fair for the dogs at all. Her family should have stepped in and took over before 47 dogs were made possible. They should be forced to watch them be put down.
What kind of loving daughter would do that to a mother? I can not see One good reason that those women would need for their mother to give up those dogs and cat!! They looked well cared for, maybees a couple of them could have done with being on a diet but other than that they looked really well!! I think it is disgusting a daughter would do that!!
@Laurenmax100 It may be that you are not completely informed as to why she had to let them go. Health reasons, maybe she was too sick to keep them, maybe the pets were too sick with being cramped up in tight confined spaces, the cost of food, and vet care, and the time it took to care for so many also took away from her children...please think before you open your mouth to judge people, especially when you don't know what you are talking about..
she did the right thing. but i still feel so bad for her. i know how much i love my dog reilly & i'd be heartbroken if i had to give him away & if she had 47 of those with that much love, it's gotta be difficult
Did the dogs suffer in any way with the woman, or are these fat children just jaloux of the time she spend on them? I dont own animal planet. Please reply.
@kianmah I hadn't thought of it like that. Good analogy! I can't imagine hoarding animals. I can understand keeping puppies or kittens, because you're afraid of taking them to the pound where they'd be put down. It's usually easy to find a dog a good home. As for cats, if nothing else, drive waaaay out into the country and let them be feral. It beats the pound.
@Frost3784 Bad idea, most cats do not survive their first winter in cold climate areas.
Many are maimed or killed by cars or wounded in fights with other animals like raccoons. Diseases like mange or parasites will kill them slowly and painfully. Please never abandon any animal. There are no kill shelters still around.
@kianmah Alcohol and hoarding animals is completely different. Yes there are some similarities but most people who own a lot of animals give a lot of attention and love and care for their animals and the animals return the love. Both alcoholism and hoarding can be treated and receiving a kiss on the cheek or a snuggle from a warm animals can help with the recovery process. So what are you talking about.

Feel sorry for the dogs. The lady has a home and gets to live. The 47 dogs will not.
