Not to keen on a light touch are ya? I don't think I've ever heard someone really dig into the strings as hard as you do. Try a lighter touch my friend. A light touch allows for more speed, as less time is spent on each string.

You did not use a noise gate and it sounded so perfect? I se a ME 50 processor and the MT-2 distortion in it gives me a lot on noise on max gain. Any idea why?

Its hard to say, It could be anything from pickups, bad cables, grounding issues!

@freakguitar1 Point taken, but my guitaring skills and my grasp of the digitalised pedals is an entirely unconnected and different thing!

@JT0daniel Its because, gain gives noise. no way around it. Some distortion pedals give less noise than others, but still, alot of the time its caused by dirty power. Dirty power is caused by having lights on the same circuit that your wall plug is on, or having your gear to close to a tv or computer. Plus the mt-2 is pretty noisy, i have it. This guy in the video is using the amt electronics metalizer. Which is much better quality, boutique quality pedals tend to give less noise.

I use a boss ns-2 it's not that expensive and works perfectly. In the video i did not use a noise gate at all.

U have probably tried boss n digitech dist pedals.The amt dist station or fatal tube or the R1 are better dist pedals than those?In the vid sounds like dont have enough sustain

The Extreme III and California sound has the most sustain of all amt pedals.

The Fatal tube has a thicker sound.
