Congress shall have the power to coin money, regulate the value thereof. We live in a constitutional republic therefore, anything contrary to the constitution is illegal.
We need to make FRACTIONAL RESERVE BANKING ILLEGAL. Make banks 100% reserve banking. Then end the fed. The money should be stable and no one should be allow to inflate legal tender money. Any private entity inflating the currency is a type of slavery.
People need to stop paying their mortgages and taxes and force the government to take back the right to issue money (to take it from the small group of elites who are robbing the country). As for this case, note that the judge was killed shortly after the verdict.
Study jfk - executive order 11110 and his silver backed certificates.
Federal reserve is a for profit non government criminal cartel that creates money out of thin air - debt slavery. Income taxes pay interest on debt-not the debt
If the money you borrow on a loan from a bank or a credit card is "an illegitimate form of consideration" then isn't it also an illegitimate form of consideration when you use it to buy things? And wouldn't those people from whom you purchased goods and services have a right to sue you to either pay them with legitimate money or return the product you purchased?
Most people are ignorant and do not know the difference between banks counterfeit credit and money so to 80% of the population they wouldn't even care so long as they can "spend it".
The banks are committing fraud it is true, but the fraud is so embedded that the system is now in free-fall collapse, the only way to fix this is for the govt to issue debt free money and discount all debt against it by matter of executive order, fat chance.
I've also heard of quite a few people who want to use this case to save people from becoming a victim of foreclosure. I'll say this much, your hearts are in the right place, but this case isn't going to save anyone who stops making their mortgage payments. I'm not saying this to bash the Zeitgeist, I'm saying this because these are the true facts. The fact is, this case has been nullified and can't be used as a precedent, you can even look it up yourself.
I got admit redwindsfan387 you are right, but still doesn't fucking matter. This shit has already infringed on people's rights everyday of their lives and not too many people in power today takes notice of this shit.
I heard it was nullified because of the untimely demise of the Judge ruling on this case. Also, while the case might have been nullified on a technicality, the argument was not nullified by precedence and therefore can be used in a jury trial. I guess people just have to keep trying and see if the judge will be receptive.
But for foreclosures, there's a better way, produce the note!
@nesNYC The next day the bank appealed on grounds that a Justice of the Peace did not have the authority to make that decision. The case was then nullified.
Also, your belief that this case can be used as precedence is wrong. Hundreds of others tried and failed after this case.
In fact, if I'm not mistaken, no one else has succeeded since the Credit River case - if we wanna call that a win of some sort.
Good comment. Another case from Zeitgeist addendum was the pilot who was led to believe through seminars that he didn't have a legal obligation to pay taxes.
Zeitgeist is very dishonest because it fails to mention all the legal trouble that ensued after the case that was cited.
This kind of misinformation is all over the internet, and could get some guillible young people in a lot of trouble.
it's the courts being corrupt and not supporting hte constituiton.
the law is the law and the constitution overrules anything a feder judge or the supreme court says becuz the law (constitution) states that only gold and silver can be used as legal tender.
the information is true but the sad fact is they'll burn u and throw u in jail if u try to speak it.
@baezalejandro The misinformation I was referring to is that he won the case, and got away scott free. Zeitgeist, and others who cite Zeitgeist do not mention that the decision was made by a Justice of the peace, who did no have the authority to make such a ruling, and it was subsequently overturned. So it didn't set precedent. Jerome Daly was later convicted of willingly failing to pay his taxes, and he was also disbarred. This is all critical information that's left out.
@philnoll ok, got yah. but from my understanding the judge refused to accept the federal reserve notes for payment of the appeals fee of $2 and they had him killed 6 months later.
the reason it was overturned was due to a technicality. and since the judge was dead the case was supressed
@baezalejandro Ah yes. True the judge died, but I would say evidence of assassination is sketchy and based around a conspiratorial starting premise. Cheers.
@philnoll i think that even though he left that info out (maybe out of ignorance or something else) the point was that it DID happen and a JUDGE did side with the Constitution.
of course though for one to argue this in court they do so at their own risk becuz the courts always come up with some bogus convictions.
@philnoll No that information is not critical. What is important is what happened in that court room. If you proof that commercial banks are counterfeiting, who cares if the court had the right to question this or not? Also the income tax is issue is irrelevant to banks counterfeiting, the two are separate issues.
@se7ensnakes I hear you, and I agree with the sentiment. But technically, its not counterfeiting if it has the force of law behind it, which it does. Some might argue that its unconstitutional, and others may think that its just morally wrong, and again I heartily agree with the sentiment. I was just urging people not to go try it out, thinking there is some legal loophole, because you wouldn't be able to find a judge these days to back you up.
@philnoll "Jerome Daly was subsequently disbarred. See In re Jerome Daly, 291 Minn. 488, 189 N.W.2d 176 (1971)." could u elaborate on this plz thx 4 ur info
According to a statement published at the Minnesota State Law Library web site, the Credit River decision is not legal precedent, since it was undertaken by a justice of the peace, and was eventually overruled by other court decisions. The defendant, Jerome Daly, was a longtime tax protester[2] and attorney who was disbarred by a decision of the Minnesota Supreme Court.[3] Its all at the Minnesota State Law Library website.
I don't think the bad part is that they got it wrong because it's probably an hoenst mistake, I've been trying to find info on this case and came across what the movie said. I think the part that is too bad is that they had to overturn it since it is actually is logical.
@philnoll This is entirely true. In fact, this case has been referenced before in Sneed v. Chase Home Fin. LLC, 2007 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 46536, 2007 WL 1851674 (S.D. Cal. June 26, 2007). Not to mention that Daly, who was a lawyer, was disbarred and this case was nullified.
@redwingsfan387obviously the bankers found the hole in the fractional reserve system because of this case and used their money and influence to persuade friends in the legal system to nullify the case.
that only goes to further prove that america has never really been a democracy since the central bank came into existence. politics depend on who has the most money and so does law and court cases.
Congress shall have the power to coin money, regulate the value thereof. We live in a constitutional republic therefore, anything contrary to the constitution is illegal.

Yeah, it might seem logical. But this guy, Jerome Daly was a tax protestor. He just got lucky on this one.
