  • Awesome tone !!! ...and playing, of course. it comes through even with the muffled audio. I can really hear the sound of a cranked, attenuated, great tube amp. The guitar sounds incredible too, is that the '59 burst I've seen in your other vids?

  • Yes same Les Paul as in my other videos! When this TV show was filmed I had owned the LP about 14 years.

  • mullets and flashy pants. Are you sure this isn't the mid 80s? Great playing.

  • THey kept spelling your name wrong, think they would of fixed that in editing. why is that kid playing with the feakin mic,, sound's like your in a wind storm.

  • The show was done by college students after hours for free, all volunteer work.

Lucky the old video tapes were saved at all.

  • THey kept spelling your name wrong, think they would of fixed that in editing.

  • Glen I am a big fan but how did you still dress like this in 92? I would have had this pegged for the mid eighties dress attire. Great playing/sound

  • in the 80s. Allan Collins Band. Hung out with then at Holliday Inn Oceanside in Jensen beach Fla. They had Peavy stuff in one of the rooms where they had there equipment. Man Those were the days bro! Was this vid in the 80s Glen? U looked so "Old School" with your close and style of play then. Dude your were freakn as-some by the way! Hey I'll cut heads with u with my Max anyday! Lol its the SAME thing! I think this MAX is better than many of the Originals.(the only brock he ever made) The Carv

  • Sorry my bad you later wacked all the amp companies on there newer crapy Amps they were selling. Guess u did play marshals. I met the founder and owner of Peavy last week just by chance. Man what a character! He is 68 now but u would never guess it. We talked for hours ... What a treasure and wealth of info he has and is sharing with me. Gonna get a hand wired signed 30 classic made by him. I Love that southern rock thang he had going on in the 70s ya know? i got a chance to meet them boys once

  • So did how did Ken feel about u plugging Jim @ 7:10? Lol I'm sure that payed some bills. U don't BS very well Glen! Maybe I'm wrong but u bowed your head as if in shame when u said it. Lol Lol that's a good thing. 8-)

  • this vid is mulletastic

  • HA!

  • those pants are priceless.

  • possibly the most underrated guitarist in the world IMO.

  • great Video. Great Playing. Great Amp. I wish this show was on national television now days. I also love the constant entertainment going on with Nigel's mic. It's a great closing shot with the mic finally clipped back on, but the wire stretched straight down to the floor. It's classic that you guys didn't even crack a smile about that.

  • Party on, Nigel!

    Party on, Glen!

  • hello sir..Great Playing, Great Tone!! Great Gear!!! what can i say? you re-introduced me the Les Paul's power. I always see/hear LPs screaming and wailing, i never thought it can cry some dynamics with clarity. i dont have a LP.. but i have a Greco EG-800...got to bring it to gigs.

    Very Inspiring sir!!

  • Ha! They mispelled your name (at 2:03)! Seriously Glen, you have some amazing chops. I especially liked your tone on the song you described as a ballad. Great hands+great gear=MAGIC!

  • Sounds great to me. Thanks for playing your Les Paul in an unpretentious manner.

  • I've seen your vids, and i've gotta say, your tone just about justifies the aura of magic the '59 LPs have.

Guess the trainwreck doesn't harm either....

  • Could you identify the box on top of your wreck. Is that an attenuator, a mic preamp, or what?

  • It's an Altair attenuator. The first one on the market as far as I know, they came out in the late 70s. Kind of rolled off the highs and lows a bit, but it worked and was well built.

  • Great interview but is the interviewer stoned or somethin.

  • Nah, Nigel is just like that. Interesting character!

  • nah, i wasn't stoned, just not yet used to being in front of a camara. the interviewer is me by the way

  • Tone is to die for!!!

  • Oh do I miss the mullets and Zubaz! The great playing is timeless!
