Tutorial 3: Create chord/stabs sound with FXpansion Strobe in Logic Pro

Using unison button to modulate the pitch by +8 semitones did not work for me and didn't sound as it did in this video, but leaving it un-modulated everything else sounds the same. It's a nice sound.Do you know why? i followed everything as explained exactly?

@klemsmusik Yes unisson to 2 and voices to 5, dunno why but when i cpied the pitch modulate which indicates the yellow rim it sound awful like the voices are all changing pitch at different times and moving up and down, not the nice big wide sound you had. but nether the less i got a good patch minus that bit. thanks for upload your a star

Awesome! I am still goofyng with strobe but i hope to get eventually there! I see you have two "c" but you detune them and Stack them! May i ask what is the result of this musically and "musical theory" explained? i hope it makes sense...

@felipescalador Having the same sound or pitch playing on top of itself slightly out of tune thickens the sound. To add texture to synths, you can modulate the amount of detuning (thereby slightly modulating the thickness of the synth) with an LFO or two.

Nice timbre, but I found by using the unison to modulate the pitch by as much as you did, the actual pitch of the note was lost. I got more playable in tune results by using unison to modulate the 'fine' setting.

@klemsmusik klemsmusik is a friend, he only make $4 an hour and have two kid which he use to buy bread. Lucky I am not with kids and I make nearly $7 because I am upper class in our country. In many months (god willing malaria does not return me to bad health again) I may afford one of the dcam synths. I am extreme with anticipation! I was saving for 2 years to purchase ableton. :'(
