@HaloSpartanG13 the prolife movement isn't aiming for complete eradication of abortion seeing as that is a bit of an impossible task. The educated pro-life community is trying to work towards a common ground seeing as that abortion at any given stage is made legal. A fully formed baby with a beating heart, brain and neural functions can be aborted at any stage of the pregnancy which I don't believe is right.

Abortion is not about gender equality - or as you suggest, 'economic parity with men'. I think that issue is rather more cloudy than you suggest here, after all, you pointed out that women have extra responsibility being the only sex who can bear children. Some serious equality issues there; since there is no opportunity for men to bear a child, the only role for a male in pregnancy can be to support the mother and the child in every way he is able.

Pregnancy carries health risks. Pregnancy and birth can be very difficult. Recovering from giving birth can take a long time.

Pregnancy should be gone into willingly by a woman who has made that choice for herself without interference, bullying or the influence of others. That's what pro-choice means.

The debate of pro choice is of freewill. Everyone has freewill. EVERYONE. But at one time there were laws to protect all citizens, even children and the elderly. Freewill goes only so far until it destroys someone else's free will. Biologically, a human being starts at conception. That means they're human, meaning that they have should have a right to live and have freewill. If you see a video of an abortion you will see the child wills to live.

there are over 16,000,000 forced abortions in China alone every year. It became so much that the Chinese dictatorship refuses to give out the numbers since 2002. In India, it's over 11 million per year. In India it's mostly to because it's a girl in the womb, where's their choice?
