  • The doll was just a smidge too fast.

  • @913861 yes... it is fast because children play with dolls different than grown people, watch a girl singing to her doll... you will find it to fast too... thanks for posting.

  • Very nice interpretation and bravo! I am doing this with a friend of mine, I'm 13 and he is 17. We're only doing six of the whole suite because of time limits. These are (in order of performance): The Top, The Doll, Soap Bubbles, Leap-Frog, Playing House, and The Merry-Go-Round. (Playing house refers to no. 11, often translated as "Little Husband, Little Wife"). My favorite of the set is no. 4, Merry-Go-Round.

  • Bravo maestros!

  • lovely !! i wanna try 6 hands !!

  • lovely! i wanna try four hands pieces! cos it gets lonely, sometimes haha,

  • sound like the barbie ballet song

  • Very nice, polished playing. Duo playing is an art in itself. I know having done a fair amount of it, but is very rewarding also. The only comment I had was that a few of the movts could have used just a speck more time between them to let the key "dissapate" a bit more.

  • Where can I order the sheet music?I would like to learn it but I can't find anywhere....Help!:)

  • my edition is:

Bizet, Jeux D'enfants, Opus 22 for one piano four hands

published by Alfred and edited by charles timbrell.

    22552

    hope that helps

  • zen-on

    peters

    IMC

    Schirmer

    and probably more...

it is a famous set of miniatures :-)

  • i like french music. My favorite piece from "Jeux d'enfants" is "Les chevaux de bois". It is very lively as well as sentimental and typically French.

  • Beautiful playing. Thanks

  • the drummer and bugler is fab.

  • the introduction is too fast

  • have you been child? how did you played? did you never run? did you had a top in your hand once? was your wood horse a fat one?

all is in your point of view we the artist call it interpretation, and it changes from one to another, but anyway is yout right to mean that for your taste is too fast, we know slower versions and we like them a lot!

  • Woa! This sounds sooooo cool! I have a friend that I just finished playing a duet with and now he wants to play this one! I am so excited to learn this! Its hard, but I'm ready for the challenge! (I sound so corny, don't I?) lolz We have the whole summer to practice and learn it and I can't wait^^;

  • I'm playing La Toupie and Les Chevaux de Bois with my teacher right now.

They are very fun pieces to play.

    This performance is very good.

People don't know hard it is to get two players that coordinated. Especially at very high tempos.

  • Great! This is the first performance of this piece I hear, and now I`ll definitely want to play it with my teacher (:

    Bravo!

  • Are these pieces hard to learn?

  • yes, very hard, but at the end you enjoy a lot playing it.

  • This is wonderful, spontaneous musicmaking by a very good duo. And the music sounds so fresh!

  • bravi...le sto studiando pure io e non sono per niente facili... bravi davvero!!!

  • whoah ... i was there watching. it was really good

  • Que bueno poderlos ver y escuchar!!! Me encantaron todos los videos y sobre todo verte hablar en el micrófono! ja, ja... BESITOS!!!
