The difference becomes very apparent when people go out of their way to create explanations that clash with our factual understanding of events. For instance, there is almost zero evidence than even suggests that 9/11 was an inside job. Yet, millions of people still believe it, despite the mountains of evidence to the contrary.

No. They are questions that could give a person a suspicion about the truth of what happened. However, when you weight these questions against the evidence that we actually have, these questions don't hold up. Most of the things you brought up aren't even directly related to 9/11.
