no, their last gig was in Candlestick Park, San Francisco on Aug 29, 1966........poignantly, as John left the stage, he strummed the chords to "In My Life". He knew it was the end. If you listen carefully on an extended bootleg of the gig, you can hear this. It's rather sad..

The six of them transitioned the Beatles from pop to concept albums which kids who grew up with them in the sixties (me), sat in their rooms and played ENDLESSLY! The Capitol yellow and red logo spun before us hypnotically on the 45s AND LPs, long before Apple records and their granny smith logo stepped in! What treasured memories. PS - they actually did know how good they sounded, regardless of screaming.
