Hydroponics, i have my own areo garden where i grow herbs, and vegetables but i can only grow one item at a time. It is really remarkable how fast food grows in hydroponics and it is year round as well, since you can grow during the winter time as well.
If i had enough money i would buy a medium size hydroponic farm and help feed some of my nieghbers and family.
OMega garden is the next generation of hydroponics.
The jobs being created (or saved) will be a majority of lower echelon, lower paying positions. I don't see that this is a bad thing entirely, but if people are barely scraping by making $6 - $12 an hour I don't see how the economy will benefit.

I still believe that every time the IMF releases/sells Gold reserves into the markets, it is done so to move USD's intp the coffers:
a) to strengthen faith in the dollar and keep the nooses tight on any country owning USD based trade
b) to strengthen faith in the dollar by making Gold less scarce in the markets
c) to suppress the price of Gold as an inverse to the faith in the USD for the collective investment psyche
d) to suppress the price of Silver as a shadow to Gold for the fundies
