I think both tats are great, a nice take on a traditional design. I agree that 4 hrs was a long time especially as it was the lad's 1st tat but i'm sure he thinks it was worth it! The colours in the one Phil did were lovely & feminine.

I think it's a lovely idea for a mother & son to get matching tattoos, they've obviously got a really close bond.

There was no hour price when i got mine done. He was so booked that he just guestimated the price, 3000 kroner, i guess that's around 350 dollars or something. not sure. But there is most likely an hourly rate at the studio.

Hey, I got one on the top of my back, which was my first. The outline is the worst part of it, but it's nothing more than maybe like a cat stratching you. Same as dannyramone7, I hate needles. Colouring and shading are nothing, you only feel pressure then. Well worth it. If it's your first though, don't get ir over a bone, cos THAT hurts.

Well i know someone whos getting a tattoo dedicated to his grandfather which is a copy of one of the medals he had. Another had one to his father (who is dead obviously). They are both good tattoo's, I would choose Phil sa he is very fast. But then there are a lot more choices of artists out there nowdays. Last Rites for instant have literally every style of artist under one roof. Old School, portrait, dark etc.
