Braid was very unconventional (when it was released), so I'm sure there were many people like Soulja (although I am convinced that he was just kidding).

As an indie game developer, I could tell you all about how the medium is dominated by pretentious white nerds, so it's really interesting to see someone from the opposite end of that spectrum playing this and not making any attempt whatsoever to buy into the artistic "meanings" of this game...
