  • Shut the fuck up.

  • Pure inspiration

  • this just made me want to turn into a beast. the intensity you displayed is contagious. youre such an inspiration tuan

  • can't this sort of thing fuck your back up

  • Nice way to fuck up the power racks bars, but still impressive. No way that it allowed in every gym though. :/

  • you sir.. are a beast! :D

  • those bars clearly cant support that much weight haha. TOO STRONG FOR THIS GYM ROAAR LOL

  • That is some crazy weights. Did you bend that bar doing that lift?

Thanks for posting and good luck in your contests.

  • how tall are you tuan?

  • I lift that much weight for Warm up, ;)lol .....great job Dude.. :)

  • try doing it without bouncing it on the bars

  • @max5232 try making a video of you showing us that you can even pull this amount of weight off the bar

  • @roughneckasian i cant, because i do the work out properly and im still 15

  • @max5232 then dont run your month lke you know something.

  • @roughneckasian He was informing you on you form not on your weight, well it would be badass deadlifting 675. But your not close to doing a full death lift, now you can tell me the same as you told max5232 that i possibly can't even get as much weight of the rack and yes i can't lift 675. And id rather stay at at lower weights focusing on form, not ruining my bod, rather y than doing this making a weird bouncy movement that is no way near a deadlift. Just my 2 cents.

  • @gizmolover28 Um.. He's doing rack pulls, not deadlifts. Absolute FAIL.

  • @roughneckasian He didn't say he was better or stronger. He said 'don't bounce it'. Pretty sound advice really

  • @max5232 Then shut the fuck up kid.

  • @max5232 if it doesnt bounce it into the bars then he will fuck his lower back up!

  • @max5232 u really think its that easy huh

  • @max5232 its touch n go. so what?

  • I can't imagine the looks you must get when you scream like that. :\

    Strong mofo, though.

  • Hey man don't take the negative comments serious... they just busting your balls... LOL...

  • have you gained mass doing that program?

  • have you gained mass doing that program?

  • omg i want ur little asian penis so fucking bad!!!!!

  • @321snbify Hey no penis kid! :D

  • Insane strenght bro. How do you manage to keep your waist so small and avoid having big powerlifter belly ?

  • UHHHH UHHHHH UHHHH HUAHHHHHHHHH

  • way to go bro good lifting, makes ya feel any better im sure most of these youtube know it all's couldn't even lift half of that. keep up hard work

  • I turned it down due to possibility parents thought I was watching Hardcore porn or something of that sort - Still very impressive!

  • This dude is beast!!!!

  • Is this good for bodybuilding?

  • @MetaIhead89 sure. its a very good exercise for upper back and the traps

  • @krautstampflsepp thanks, I did this and it's also good for lower back as well. It just exclude legs.

  • You are a badass Tuan. Hahaha, I'm still trying to get my rack pulls to 500 for reps, bought some straps and still trying to get used to them.

  • @kinein that is good to hear. With lifting straps, you can go beyond what yout normal grip strength.

  • I do rack pulls with a bit more range of motion but the way he is doing is better to train the deadlift lockouts,I do it with a bit more ROM because I don't do regular deadlifts I just want to keep it on the back

  • rack pull. says its for lower back on bb.com...

  • this guy is a danger

  • Isnt those rack pulls a little too high too be the most effective :S?

The barbell path seem so short that high?

Slight under knee hight is the way too go imo.

Nevertheless, 675 for 10s is still very impressive though =)

Even the cardio must be at a very good level for 10 reps, (specially with so much weight ;)

  • Hmm why so many negative comments out there? This is useful video and helps me to get motivated at the gym. I am not a big body builder, but I do almost of the core work outs. Thanks for the video. Keep updating...

  • @TaLaConHeo Glad to see that this video is of help. Don’t mind the YouTube know it all haters. Sometimes when people see others doing well or moving forward in life, it makes them reflect on themselves and causes them to conjure up all the failures and regrets that they have had. And with people, some will be open minded and asks others for help in order to overcome a obstacle while others will be frustrated and want to brings others down to their level of negativity.

  • @roughneckasian Yes, I can see a lot of haters out here. I've been working out for almost or at least three years now. And I know how hard to get to where you are right now. As everybody's body built different from each other. For me I can't get big, because it looks weird on me. I'm happy with what I got right now as long as it keeps me stronger. Watching others on youtube just makes me more motivate! Thanks again for the video.

  • @roughneckasian I can really appreciate and relate to this. I think society on the whole has a vast fear of faliure, rather than fearing what they cannot do, people fear that they are infinatley powerfull. They cannot take it when someone strarts to act upon this because it tears down their lies. I'm not sure if you have already done this, but I for one would find it really benificial to see an in depth video of how you lay out and monitor your workout programmes.

  • @roughneckasian i would love to get into your gym and have us a showstopper texas gun show!!!!i

  • @roughneckasian well said tuan tran :') you inspire me

  • @roughneckasian wow that is sooo true, true talk right there

  • @TaLaConHeo

People are giving it thumbs down/ negative comments because his form is not correct. His tibia (lower leg) should be right next to the bar at the start and remain vertical during the movement, which when done correctly will load his posterior chain (hamstrings, glutes, low back and upper back). His form is almost like a partial squat. When people use his form they can easily do another 30-45% weight over their proper Dead Lift weight, as witnessed by his 485 x 3 dead lift video..

  • Truan! You are so freakishly strong! What supplements do you take?

  • @8jakeP8 dude, just do a check on the signs of roids use/abuse. and u will surely find Mr. Tran has got almost all of them.

so if anyone wants to be like Mr. tran. make sure he receives all the facts beforehand.

  • @NastyYogaBunny2010 You're a fucking moron! This isn't even that remarkable. I do this weight with rack pulls all the time and I'm natural, never taken more than creatine. Granted I'm heavier. But still this is NOT even remarkable enough to think that he's on gear. And what are the signs of steroids? His shoulders don't look like cannonballs. jealous assholes like you make me sick.

  • @NastyYogaBunny2010 You are one sad ignorant motherfucker.

  • Damn, Tuan you just keep improving man. Keep it up man!

  • LIGHTWEIGHT , HEYYYYYYY BUDDYYYYY

  • This dude sounds like Goku

    AHHHHHGHGHHG

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH

  • if u can do it without grunting than u arent challenging yourself...they invented planet fitness for pussies

  • i think he made a different noise every lift

  • Did he have to throw down the belt like he just bench pressed the world?

  • Are u natty brah?

  • i ahve that bar at my gym but i never did anything with it besides shrugs sitting on a bench cause it works well with the kink

  • You bounce that weight so much your safety bars are bent...

  • one of the most awesome looking viet dudes ive seen

  • @roughneckasian, your retorts are the ultimate anti-troll, so kudos #1 there. secondly thats a solid pull, do you find "bouncing" the bar is better for strength than deadstops?

  • Where can I get this Russian program?

  • @stevenlongcox JESUS CHRIST I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE BITCH LIKE YOU, GET OVER IT

  • @Cookboy100 run on a treadmill at 7 mph continously for 15 minutes with little elevation to compensate for air resistance when running on a track. Do lots of bench press, look for stronglifts 5x5 on google. And most important ( especially when u run)CONTROL YOUR BREATHING.

  • you know u can still do that lift... without making sounds like rought gay sex :P

  • Most likely just the angle, but it seems more like you are using your quads to get it up more than pulling it. I've noticed it is always allows more weight this way but I think it reduces the carryover to deadlifts.

  • Rack pulls should only be attempted a few inches off the ground, which nobody seems to know.

  • I think he would make a good candidate for a Seal training .

  • Hey Tuan, do you have any videos about speed deadlifts or anything else that improves speed (not necessarily limit-strength) from the floor?

  • good weight but dont you think it would be better and recruit more muscle fiber stimulation if you didn't use straps, less reps, and more sets? For example use a weight that you dont need straps but can only get 3-5 reps and do 4-6 sets.

  • @utterback12 man c'mon its damn powerlifting training... try keeping the grip with that much weight and no straps... impossible!!! your little fingers cant hold it that long...

  • @RecTaLDisTresS yeah your right

  • good shit i max out at like 550 on this and im considered strong at my school.....great job

  • Good job man, no wonder you got first place :) ... I think deadlift is usually what makes you or breaks you in a competition.

  • Btw i'm 33 now. is it too old to have a great body like yours?

  • Hi Tuan, just wanna ask what do you eat before you do workouts besides a protein shake? And how many hours or minutes prior u'r training?I work out at gym before and almost reached the same sculpt as yours but i slacked for 5 years and i end up now having a pot bellied abs.I would like to go back my old days with proper training.

  • awesome vid tuan, keep the vids coming. forget about the haters. you plan works for me.

  • Hey Tuan love the videos and the fact your natural just wondering what your comp weight is and you non comp weight is and height thx

  • shouldnt bend the knees doing rack pulls

  • again.. are the screams necessary?

but great lifting like always just the screams really seam a bit dramatic

  • @krb0123 again, they probably are, cause otherwise... he wouldnt scream

haha, im bothering u now right? lol

yes i know it was unnecessarily to tell you the same thing twice :P

  • @Carljoakimmm dude fly away u stupid fly nothing i said was dirrected towards u so keep ur stupid meaningless opinion to yourself. thank you

  • @krb0123 no, i wont.

  • fag, do some real DL's. Ill be DLing that soon for really. Asians ahahahaha

  • @joseph1987BB Man FUCK you racist.

  • @joseph1987BB ahahahahha video ahahaahahah

  • damn i feel bad for the guy who gets into a first fight with you

  • Great job, I am 53 years old and I weigh 214 and yesterday I pulled 10 at 135,10 at 225,10 at 315, 10 at 405, 10 at 515, 5 at 565, 5 at 595 and 2 at 605 and one at 615, I am worn out today but I know my dead lift will get better on the lockout, I did it off number 3 hole which is just below my knee's. Thanks for the information and great work. Dont listen to the wannabe experts. Its usually someone who cant or doesnt powerlift. I just won in the slp with a powercurl of 175 on September 4.

  • what does rack pull do?

  • @MetaIhead89 allows you to not have to go all the way down, so you can get away with lifting more weight.

  • you need to get deep..

  • @Skrapmag that is the lowest setting on the squat rack, so that is a far as it will go down. besides, it is already at knee level, any deeper and I might as well do a regular deadlift. the purpose of the rack pull is not to strengthen the lower half of my body, but the upper half. To load my rear delfs, traps, infra and supraspinatus, teras major and minor...etc. I really think you should read in more about the rack pull before making such comments

  • @roughneckasian Agree with Tuan. These racks pulls are effective for the overload principle to create strength at the top of the pull. These pulls are really really good and the way Tuan is doing them is very effective. However Tuan, I wouldn't do that many reps considering your powerlifting. Perhaps 1 to 3 for the strength unless you want some hypertrophy.

  • @roughneckasian i would like some suggestions so i can pass my area police department pt test. this is what i will have to do.............1.5 mile run under 15:14,.........26 push ups in one minute,...........35 situps in one minutes i kind of got the sit ups and push ups down pack, just need the running to be alittle better. i have about 2 months before i take my pt so if you can.......make me a workout that will help.. please!

  • @roughneckasian How about gluteus maximus, isnt that getting worked too?

  • @roughneckasian

straps, roids, protein supplements - so what did i miss?

  • @NastyYogaBunny2010 So if a police officer came up to you and arrested you just because you "looked like" a rapist or someone who would molest children vs. having any proof and facts, would that be ok? I guess so considering the comment you made towards me. I will let my videos and actions speak for me whether I am drug free or not. Either way, I hope that people do not profile you in a neg. way or accuse you of something that you are not just because of your appearance.

  • @roughneckasian oh, i missed weight belt! sorry about that. btw the police only needed probable cause to make an arrest / detention. doubt you knew that. lets see if we have that here. hmm moon face, nasty skin tone, abnormal muscle growth. the traits of drug use is everywhere on you, dear. just b/c u r on the seemingly undetectable "the clear" roids doesnt make u drug free. in any case, have a nice day.

  • @NastyYogaBunny2010 hes drug free. look him up.

  • @SmexyPC look up the roids "the clear". *rolls eyes*

  • @NastyYogaBunny2010 You're pathetic and don't know what you're talking about. How about you educate yourself. Where are you getting abnormal muscle growth from? He has been training for years. Moon face? Well I bet he uses/used creatine which would cause bloating. So those two are discredited. As for the skin tone comment, that's offensive and it looks just tan to me. As for straps and belt, they are both important when trying to overload muscles safely without being limited to grip strength.

  • @8jakeP8 no dear, u r the one who needs to get a reality check. the expansion of head due to roids abuse is permanent and irreversible! why don't u request mr. Tran to produce a pic of himself at the age of 15 or so. see how much his head has grown since then.

  • @NastyYogaBunny2010 Okay, well don't use that tone with me. A lot of them were pretty close to his size, but without the knowledge of nutrition and kinesiology. As for his head size, you don't stop growing until your around 21. As for his skin color, I have a friend with the exact same skin color and he definitely isn't on roids. Just stop. Belts and straps are great and not for sissies. Think before you post. You reply to this and I'm going to start trolling you.

  • @NastyYogaBunny2010 urinalysis for the following org: NGA, Musclemania, USAPL, WNSO FAME, REAL, all Passed

As for Polygraph test: NGA, NPC Texas Shredder, all Passed

Videos of my taking a urinalysis: title Tuan Tran Drug Test for Natural Bodybuidling Part 1 for May 8 2010

Videos of Drug test forms from USAPL title Tuan Tran: 1st Place 198 Open RAW @ USAPL Long Horn Open, Also Speical Offer for 2010

Last, Tuan Tran ALL NATURAL ATHLETE How I Looked At 14 Years Old, you can use that to compare

  • @roughneckasian i believe the figures/video u posted above are all geninue. but u've got clear signs of roids use. plus there are so many ways to defeat the drug test. eg. use the "clear", timing of the "cycle", counter/detox drug. etc.

lets not kid ourselves, ok? cheers.

  • @NastyYogaBunny2010 you are entitled to you opinion which is only an opinion and not fact. Also, unless you are willing to pay for me to take the expensive Olympic style blood doping test, I really do not know what more proof I can provide. I have given all that you asked and would like to ask you in your opinion who you think (name) is natural and what proof the have provided that they are natural and I will follow the same blue print. Take care and hope you give me that blueprint

  • @NastyYogaBunny2010 he has taken lie detector tests

  • @NastyYogaBunny2010 HAAHAHHAH awwwww he shut the fuck up because he finally realized how much of a dumbfuck he is. :(((((

  • @NastyYogaBunny2010 you're really that dumb that you think this guy must have took steroids to put on the muscle mass he has??? you're a total dumbass and i hope you're not going around giving people fitness tips because you don't know a damn thing

  • @6garbageman9 a total dumbass is someone who couldnt even ID a roids user. >)

  • @NastyYogaBunny2010 a total dumbass is someone who thinks big muscles are the cause of steroids....someone like you perhaps, maybe because you're still a scrawny piece of shit who can't get big lol!!!!

  • @8jakeP8 u have no idea what i meant by abnormal muscle growth do you? take a long good look at pic of the body builders 100 yrs ago when roids wasnt invented and compare their muscle to Mr. Tran's. nasty skin tone, pick an asian man of mr. tran's age and compare his skin tone to mr. tran's. boy you have a lot to learn. as for straps and belt, if one cant lift the weight with his own effort, that means he shouldnt be lifting it. props r for sissies.

  • @NastyYogaBunny2010 what does a nasty skin tone have to do with roid usage?? has it occurred to you that is called a tan??? and you do know that most body builders (whites in general) who do use roids appear to be dark because they do get tans??? just shut the hell up already before you get hurt here lol!!!

  • @6garbageman9 nasty skin tone = uneven surface . learn how to ID roids users. kiddo.

  • @NastyYogaBunny2010 uneven surface??? does that even make any sense??? lol!!! you mad faggot?? mad because you're a runt, you can't get big naturally and therefore people who progress, in your mind, is a steroid user?? hahahaha!!!

  • @6garbageman9 i am sorry u r too dumb of a kid to understand any of this. I am so sorry.

  • @NastyYogaBunny2010 be sorry that every last person in the past who saw your past comments from a few months ago were all bashing you for being a dumbass.....u mad bro??? lol!!!!

  • @NastyYogaBunny2010 funny how a yoga faggot like yourself is making roid accusations lmao!!!!!

  • @6garbageman9 worse, yoga faggots get all the beautiful women while roids users have to screw themselves. there is justice afterall. dont u think my gullible child?

  • @NastyYogaBunny2010 it's just too bad most of the chicks think they men in yoga are gay.....especially with a name like Yoga BUNNY, fruitcake...

  • @NastyYogaBunny2010 you got your ass kicked on this comment section earlier, you wanna get owned again asshole? hahahaha!!!

  • @6garbageman9 if u r dumb enough to worship a roids user, its doom on you. kiddo.

  • @NastyYogaBunny2010 no roids here clown, but because every guy in your gym, (that's if you even workout) is bigger than your weak ass doesn't make them roid users....so are you mad bro?? lol!!!

  • @NastyYogaBunny2010 "roids users have to screw themselves"...and here you are, a tender slim yoga faggot, beating off to a video of a guy working out in the gym., 'nuff said queer-boy! lol!!!!

  • @6garbageman9 that "roids users have to screw themselves" remark really rubbed a nerve there. didnt it? yoga bunny is able to do "grace" at 165lbs. hell, i dont think u even know whats "grace". go google. CROSSFIT GRACE. something not even your roids hero could match. oh, just forgot to mention this. tonight i kissed a new girl. so when was the last time u and your roids hero kissed each other?? *chuckle*

  • Comment removed

  • @NastyYogaBunny2010 "yoga bunny is able to do "grace" at 165lbs"....until you post a video of yourself doing that instead of faggot yoga crap, your word aint shit lol!!! btw, kissing female blow up dolls is not considered "kissing a new girl".....apparently i've struck a nerve on you enough to even be arguing with me, i mean after all you got your ass kicked on here by several different people already, so i take it you're trying to regain your self esteem again lol!!!

  • @6garbageman9 words from me is priceless. i do not cheat lie or steal. >) but too bad u didnt have the good senses to distinguish true heroes from drug abusers. which is why you only get to kiss blow ups or your roids user equals whereas urs truly get the creme de la creme. and i wouldnt call bitchslapping a roids user 'arguing". oh and my Fran time is less than 3 1/2 mins. and if u think crossfit is hard, try ashtanga yoga for once. u have alot of growing up to do, kiddo. mark my word.

  • you're the one who doesn't have the good senses to tell a natural from a roid user, just because you're a natual born weakling who can't put on muscle at all doesn't mean everyone else who does is a steroid user you moron, this is why you're so persistent in trying to bash this guy, it doesn't even occur to you that he's has a mesomorph body type...maybe you should look THAT up instead of calling every muscular person a steroid user KIDDO

  • @6garbageman9 bash this guy? me and him even share the same last name. for all i know he could be my distant cousin. weaklings are those who are unable to bring themselves to face the truth. u can use drugs or long intervals off periods to defeat drug tests. but the truth lies within you. and the side effects of drug abuse stays within for as long as you live. if u really want to pick a role model to worship, I'd recommend sgt dakota meyers. USMC.

  • @NastyYogaBunny2010 Your such a fucking idiot, just shut the fuck up now and save yourself the flaming idiot.

  • @roughneckasian Excellent response - it has soud wisdom in it - to a dingbat comment.

  • @NastyYogaBunny2010 ...You're a fucking idiot lol

  • @Skrapmag dog these are RACK PULLS not deadlifts

  • You're a tank man. I rack pull the same way you do but, I see and hear a lot of people say that your butt should be out more. I'm curious on what your opinion on it is?

  • should invest in chalk instead of straps ur forearms will benefit greatly

  • @goldtogreysmoke so what do you have against gay people? I have friends that are gay and they do not grunt when they train. but I will say only ignorance, uneducated people like yourself make such comments. so to say us both time, I will just have you blocked. take care

  • @roughneckasian Totally agree

  • @roughneckasian I dont know why you even bother replying to these idiots. Awesome videos dude!

  • @roughneckasian Well said!

  • @goldtogreysmoke only bitches complain.

  • @goldtogreysmoke obviously your just jelous that he can actually move 675lbs

  • Sick dude, thanks for posting this vid. I've just started doing rack pulls after taking a long break from deadlifting due to a back injury. I am hitting 515 for 5 on my last working set. I do this touch and go, which looks to be your method as well. Do you think this is the best way to do it for body building purposes? Or is there benefit to losing all your momentum and letting the weight sit idle before pulling again? Thanks.

  • nice grunts man, pretty sexy

  • You just came 10 times...

  • nice squat

  • wow i go to a fairly big gym and theres some pretty big strong guys and never seen someone do that much

  • thank you man, i really appreciate your advice, what kind of things do you eat? i'm starting to get some muscle on my body now but i cant seem to shift my pot belly lol, any tips? what do you think to creatine too cos a friend has recommended it

  • hey man awsome vid, i'm new to weight training, i'v always been a skinny guy but for the past 4 months i'v been going to the gym but recently my friend says dead lifting is essential when trying to gain mass, is this true?

  • @FlashWadderz YES! also, any full body movements that puts more stress on the body will make it grow fast. Example: bicep curls vs squats with hip below 90 degrees.

  • def impressive weight but technically those are not rack pulls. they are basically cheating dead lifts. the knees should not bend that much

  • haha i wish there were ppl shouting like that at my gym

  • those arent rack pulls, ur using ur quads too much

  • You beast

  • great motion,and awesome program

  • overlaod works but you will begin to overtrain after about 6 weeks.

  • lol it looks like jelly. great vid.

  • pretty good man! I dont want to be the internet advice giver i hate that....but if you train with a bodybuilding belt, did you ever try turning it around so that the wide part is in front? It will give you better support. Also do you do rack pulls bellow the knee? I dont know...i just thought i would share some things i learned with experience. Or maybe you do your'e rack pulls this way cuz you know something i dont.

  • cant not turn the belt around nor use powerlifting belts because it would impact my rips and hips right on the bone which would cause to much pain. Also, I am using a chamber bar, which has a u shape bent in the middle so I can bypass my knees with out the bar hitting them, so juse, the bar is about 1 to 1.5 inches below my knee. hope this answers your questions

  • @roughneckasian how can i train like you??

  • your an animal man! the Marines would love you. and based on your physical appearence, in basic they'd have you in the hardest training platoon reg.

  • damm tuan you're strong as hell

  • don't bounce the weight. give way to much momentium and also is a great way to injury the back

  • @Mordatuned Have you ever tried rack pulls? At that weight you really CAN'T "bounce" it like you can off the floor.. The racks have way too much give, and take the blow.. It really doesn't come back up at ya, like off the floor.

  • @Mordatuned dude this isn't yoga, it's powerlifting

  • @Mordatuned the slight bounce gives you more momentum to do more reps and helps keep up intensity nice work dude that 275lb more than i can lift

  • yer such a beast

  • beastasaurus rex

  • Let's see some video of you doing that slow then... and the big difference between you and Tuan.
