He was a little nervous but he also wanted to make everyone laugh and plus he is reading a script on the camera that he is looking at. and I love it when he American Idiot was birthed or born and then it sounds like he says F it if you will in that. Felt sorry 4 him-( I was in the audience) & what u didn't c was the lackluster applause he got at 1st. The grp prior 2 him were still talking when they announced his name & cut them off, mid speech, w/ no cue music. So people were confused. Not sure if they shld clap or not. He came down a hallway so his view was blocked from them & we couldn't c him nearly till he got to the mic...so it was a weird moment. That's why he said hi to the people in the balc. He knew where his fans were! Luv ya BJ!

The first part of his speech was kinda awkward, and the beat-boxing from the cast was kind of strange... Nonetheless, the performance was well done and quite different (I mean that in the best of ways). =)

@sunnyrose94 i don't think it was beat boxing. the sound at the tony awards is always horrendous and i think it was just people breathing heavily and their mics picked up the noise. if you pay attention the beat boxing sounds happen in beat with their intense dance moves so that's why it's probably just someone breathing heavily in order to keep their singing even

btw this was AWESOME!!
