The only one thing why ut2k4 is better - KARMA physics system. With it in UT99 we would make UT2k4 gameplay and other stuffs. Most of the best level creators like FragNBrag, Derdak2rot etc. made maps much better than ut2k4. I still love UT/u1 cause they are more dynamic, more coolest, and they have got climate and something which you don't wanna left first classic unreal games.

UT3 graphics with slow motion kills is one of my favourite things ever. Then add UTCompIII mod and hearing the BO! when u get a hit and then watch the guy slowly explode at 1920x1200 as your both in mid-air.. just incredible :)

This game is sweet but the online sucks. It's a rare opportunity when you get to join an actually good DM, TDM or CTF match. And when you do, it's the same 3 maps over and over. And the servers are filled w/ bots to compensate fo the lack of players. But UT2K4 is still sweet.

I don't think you know what your talking about. UT3 is a great game. It may not be as good as UT99, but it sure does have better weapon balance than 2k4 and the patches over time made it a hell of alot better. Plus, it was released in alpha stage so that is why it doesn't get played as much as it should.

yes. on all full settings. i have a pentium core 2 duo (2ghz) and a nvidia go 7400 and i play it on full. no slow downs or anything.

In BR you have a translocator and you pass the ball to your teammates to score into the enemy's goal.

Big mistake not to keep it in ut3 but that game fails at pretty much everything anyway...

yea ur kinda right.. my pc maybe too old to handle ut3 but it still can handle it on lowest settings.. but i dont care about graphics i care about gameplay.. and ut3 totally dissapointed me like nothing before.. weapon balance not good redeemer too many useless meshes and its model eeew.. since when did the redeemer become a turret? rofl but ut2k4 might me 5~6 yrs old but still there are many fantastic modders who still mod for ut2k4 :)

Personally i think it's a crime against the UT hardcorefans not to release the "champioship" series made for the shitty Xbox on PC, Campionship 2 is really nice with the extra melee features, takes the game to a whole new level and experience, Unreal was made for PC not a freaking console!!
