Slightly, but I rarely use it. I just tap the touch pad for the same result.

True, for that you do have to use the button which is a bit awkward. You can use the application key, but I never got used to that.

For you I've tried. I won't do it for most requests for obvious reasons. I tried zelda for a minutes and it worked fine. It didn't over heat or freeze up. You should be fine.

I've never tried one of those, but if a pc with the same specs could run it, then it could. Probably no to newer games but I don't know what that site requires. If you can tell me the requirements I'd be happy to help further.

Ok so I don't really know much about how memory(ram) works but 1gb of ram...what does that do for the aspire one. How does it run? I want a good laptop for surfin the net and running a few programs at once as well as photo and video editing. Just wondering if you think this is a good laptop for me =] thanks

Video editing... I don't know. The ram would be fine because I do that on a laptop with 512mb but the processor speed might be too low. Photo editing, sure. I watch movies on it, surf the web, do email, write using word, run instant messengers. Basically everything except video editing.

I just got mine from COSTCO (they give you 2yrs free tech support) today for $360.

Spent most of the afternoon taking stuff off (McAfee/that annoying trial ver. MS Office) and putting better stuff on (Firefox/OpenOffice/Avast/DiVX codec)

Not a replacement for my Macbook (not what I bought it for anyway) but its spinning like a top and I love it so far.

My next project is to partition that generous HDD and see if I can get Mandriva 2008 on there!
