Let us hope that the catching of bears and their consecutive exchange for a shop does not become a new industry! I see danger in too much carrot, perhaps a bit of stick as well (maybe the aim of making bear ownership a thing not of pride but of shame) ? Religious persuasion sounds good, but unfortunately everything takes time.

Kudos to Dr Fakhar-i-Abbas & his team, to see those bears released into the sanctuary is awesome. I would love to go work with Dr Fakhar-i-Abbas but I'm afraid I couldn't hold my temper like they have to. Human beings are the only creatures that enjoy inflicting pain to another animal, what's human about that? we are the animals!
