He doesn't know what it is, but the cover looks really cool. So he puts it in. He is welcomed by promising theme music, and he starts the game. I'm afraid you've already missed the golden age of "good" Deus Ex multiplayer servers etc, but the single player is amazing and you can play it over and over. It still has more value today than the entire Call of Duty and Halo series' combined in my opinion.
Unless its an MMO, I don't play on multi-player servers. I'm one of the "new generations" and a girl, I like first person shooters, they were my first games, the new ones like COD and Halo, are fun for a moment then they get boring, there is something missing on them... there are games I play for months while others I just do them once. I don't know whats with the guys nowadays, maybe they are addicted to guns and warfare or just trying to be the best, but IMO its a waste of time
Agree with you Deus Ex is awesome, only bad point about it is the awful sluggish speed of crosshair. A kid who for the first time shooting a bb gun could aim better then a no skill character who is a damn train agent, might not have actual training with weapon but come on got to have spent a minimum time at shooting range. =p

I'm getting really tired of saying this.. I LIKED Deus Ex 2. It had great atmosphere and a pretty good story. It had some gameplay mechanisms that sucked pretty grandly , but it wasn't unplayable.

Agree with you Deus Ex is awesome, only bad point about it is the awful sluggish speed of crosshair. A kid who for the first time shooting a bb gun could aim better then a no skill character who is a damn train agent, might not have actual training with weapon but come on got to have spent a minimum time at shooting range. =p

Fantastic, a Deus Ex LP! Im extremely lucky, i picked deus ex up in perfect condition in a charity shop for about 5 euro. Looking forward to the rest of the LP!!!!!

I'm getting really tired of saying this.. I LIKED Deus Ex 2. It had great atmosphere and a pretty good story. It had some gameplay mechanisms that sucked pretty grandly , but it wasn't unplayable.
Oh, and see if you can get a hand on those hi-res texture packs. Great new LP!
