Very nice post of a great song. It is hard for me to listen to any cover of Mark’s music. My wife makes fun of how different his voice was, but just listen to Mark’s original of this one, and you can feel the passion he had when he sang. He wasn’t just singing, he was hurting all the pain, bleeding out the wounds, begging for God’s hand to reach out as he sang.
