Kids are telling other kids they can get a high playing the choking game. But even if they don't die the first time, they kill brain cells, so if they play again they may die. Just something kids made up to control other kids.

I don't understand why anyone would play the choking game. The choking game probably claimed hundreds of victims before and after David.I think the choking game needs to be stopped, however I don't think it will. A lot of what's going on needs to be stopped, people always find away to do something dangerous. I never even heard of the choking game until I saw that episode of Dr. G.

This is very tragic and I am sorry for your the loss! My son is 11 and I catch him all the time putting both of his hands up to his throat, choking himself. It is a constant habit for him. I remind him all the time about what happened to this little boy, but it doesn't seem to sink in to him. Once again my condolence goes out to the family!

sanford4lyfe we all have lost a loved one, we will always miss them, we have to move on with your life. It doesn't seem right when a kid dies.Jesus is the only one who can comfort you and help you move on. I hoped David's friends quit playing the choking game after his death. We need to stop the choking game.I wonder if his "friends" pressured him to play the choking game.He was around the age where peer pressure begins.

His friends did pressure him into playing the game. They called him a chicken because he didn't play it. He took that offensively and then this happened. Trust me, I'm his cousin..

Hi David Cody was in my 2nd grade class he also was in my homeroom for a little part of our 7th grade year. His locker was under mine and id always say David if u dont get ur big head from out of my stomach. then one monday i noticed he wasnt under me and i went in homeroom and the teacher said he had died i was so hurt. i was watching discovery health one day and i saw the preveiw for dr.g david codys case and i said to my self i have to watch that cause i thought it was suicde before i watched dr.g and i thought why would someone so cute do that to themself and i made sure i watched it and still cant belive it he was really cute i give all my love to david codys family and i think it was so brave of alyssa to talk on tv about it if it was my bro i couldnt of the hudson family your in my prayers

i watched Dr.G and saw the way they handled him and started to cry its asham that he is so young i know what its like 2 loose a brother mine was 24 and left a 3yr old and a unborn baby behind. my bro. died a day before david cody i dont know how to spell it but i give my condolinces to his family

I always talk to my new 5th grade class about the dangers of the game and I was just wondering if it were possible to get some of the signs that your grandfather has on the side of his truck?
