Parents need to open up and start building a relationship with their child. Cut off the tv and start doing stuff with them or do activities that requires all their attention. I feel that parents need to stop feeling taboo about talking about this and see that the child also mimics what the parents do sometimes.
Love is always the answer. Just hug the kid until he pulls away from you.
