I hate it when people compare graphics between the two games.. Obviously h3s is going to be better, different system. But the halo 2 graphics were the best and cleanest for its time, the gameplay was the best, multiplayer was the most fun for casual and hardcore gamers.. 3 and reach have nothing on it

i like them all equal but i have a problem because for some reason halo 3 was just very dark and griddy with the story which ya know didnt work too much for me. also they turned arbiter from a cool character to someone from like lord of the rings. the voice actor was the same but he screwed up with the dialogue. they also replace miranda keyes with a shitty new voice actor who sounds like she has a stuffy nose. those are my complaints.

The first game of an franchise usually has to be excellent, because if the first game is not a success they dont make a second or third. The second game usually goes way overboard(Halo; Swords, Lock-on Rockets, ARBITER!!!(yuck))(MW; HB Sensors, Thermal, Secondary Shotguns, OMA.) And the third installment usually goes back to its original roots which made the game so popular and exciting in the first place.

Okay all I have to say is that Halo 2 and Halo 3 are nothing compared to the orignal... I don't care what you say Halo combat evolved changed gaming forever. Halo 2 just added and took away from the game with different stuff and halo 3 the same with halo 2. They took the pistol out which made halo in my opinion. It takes a lot more skill in halo then any of it's sequels also. If you read almost all the MLG players too they say that Halo CE is there favorite out of them all

Average connections and lag were better in halo2. People didn't jerk around and have space in their movement just because the connection wasnt perfect. Halo 3 is the #1 choice, but there were a lot of things better in halo 2. Like no double-beatdowns and not haviong to shoot someone 3 times after they walk on top of a grenade.

My point was that they cant get any similar and they are pretty much the same game. I mean its the final part to a trilogy you would think they would go out with a bang and introduce things that have never been done before but all they do is make the graphics a tad bit better. So people pay 45 pounds for a game which only adds forge and a new campaign mode which is far too short.
