  • Wonderful tribute to my favorite actress

  • Natalie Wood is one of my all time favourite actresses. A beautiful talented lady who was lost so young and so tragically ! What a loss. AND WHAT A MYSTERY STILL UNSOLVED. ! I don't think so! Every time a certain someone closes his eyes he should see her beautiful face haunting him. RIP SWEET NATALIE! YOU ARE LOVED!

  • Like this one very much, Alan Parsons, such a great talent, and an inspirational sound engineer.....And Natalia well all has been said that can be, first say her in,The Ghost And Mrs. Muir. with Gene Tierney, she played Genes' daughter small role she was very young.

  • great work! thanks for that!

  • Great song, great beauty, great actress! Thanks.

  • just beautiful, i could watch her all day. Its hard to believe those films were made 40 years ago as she still has a look that is so fresh today.

  • she was brilliant, indeed!!!

  • Natalie Wood you always this in my memory

  • Natalie had 2 daughters by 2 men: Natasha Gregson (now 40; father is Richard Gregson) and Courtney Wagner (now 36; father is Robert Wagner). Neither of her daughters have children.

  • Very good tribute...

  • Natalie Wood was born Natalia Nikolaevna Zakharenko in San Francisco, to Russian immigrant parents Maria Stepanovna (née Zudilova) and Nikolai Stepanovich Zacharenko. As an adult, she stated, "I'm very Russian, you know."

She was a great American Actress

  • I love natalie wood, not only she is beautiful but she is a great actress....

  • her vulnerability was her greatest strength.

  • @shelski72 great words.

  • @shaftsbury94 Wanna hear something funny? I grew up at 2622 Shaftsbury Avenue (canada)

  • @shelski72 iwill have a look on google strret view.let you know.

    I still miss her dearly.

  • I'm just starting to get to know who Natalie Wood is by watching videos and reading her biography book. Wonderful tribute video. Thanks for sharing!

  • What a beautiful tribute to a beautiful woman,,,,,an outstanding montage

  • beautiful love that song in a sad..way

  • still comes across as vital and fresh. unique and unforgettable.......

  • Natalia and lucky men..........

  • The perfect marriage of a song and one of the loveliest women to grace the silver screen....I may be the only person who has NOT seen "Condemned," and will rectify the situation soon. But love the clips shown from the films I do know: "Proper Stranger," Splendor," "Great Race," "Bob & Carol," "Miracle/34th," "Sex/Single Girl," and probably the two most identified with the lady: "Gypsy" and "West Side Story." She was just a siren of beauty with the largest, most exquisite eyes I've ever seen!!

  • I will never forget the day I heard the news of her death. I was crushed and depressed about it for weeks. Thanksgiving wknd, when so many are celebrating and getting ready for the holidays, and here she was, drowned off Catalina and no one to save her. I realized how fragile life is, that if this could happen to this vibrant and famous woman, then it could happen to anyone. Her death still makes me very sad, especially when I watch these videos. Very nicely done video, BTW. RIP, Natasha

  • One of the most beautiful women I've ever seen. Her eyes just destroy me.

  • Thanks for finding this!

  • One of the most beautiful women in the world. A great actress and human. So

glad I was of the age that watched most of her films.

  • Great clip....thanks for posting it!

  • What a gorgeous woman.

  • Mona [Lisa] should have such a nice smile.

  • this tribute to Natalie is so beautiful. after watching it the first time I had to find the song. I now have the cd and when I hear this song I will always think of her. thank you for posting this!!!!

  • Beautiful Natalie Wood, I love you and always will.

    Goodbye my love.

    Gott Segen NW

    Tomas

  • i lve¡¡¡ALWAYS¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • excellent tribute. very touching and moving!. Congrats tube13you !

  • ella sera mi angel por siempre ¿PORQUE LA VIDA ES ASI A VESES INJUSTA SOLO DIOS LO SABE ?

  • @zipsteroonie it was part of Splendour in the grass.

  • She was such an amazing person who will always be remebered. It was only yesterday when I watched her in West Side Story.

  • 0:05 im in love

  • 29 years gone today, but not fogotten. Rest in Peace. : )

  • 28 years, not 29.

  • Sorry I didn't count right. Well, we'll always remember her anyway :)

  • She's an Angel. And she inspires me soo much!

  • I'm re-reading an excellent, we-researched biography of Natalie written in the early 90's. She always had a fear that she would drown in "dark water"; how ironic. Her mother basically messed up her life, but she was a beautiful person, inside and out, very talented, and died far too young.

  • excellent song choice for a beautiful tribute!

  • Poor girl did not deserve to die like that. I miss her soooo much!

  • i will love her forever natalie truly an angel

  • The most beautiful woman on the planet ever

  • I haven't read it. I'll have to get that book.

  • Roddy McDowell made this superb compilation. The music that he used was from West Side Story, but the music that replaces it here is equally inspired and sadly relevant.

  • OMG: 0:05-0:06

  • i love her movies

  • One of the best "Tributes" to the late Natalie Woods that I've seen on here. Thanks for the post. Its also good to see there are other people who are commenting and keeping her memory alive. Her Beauty is mesmerizing and I've found myself watching this several times already. Great song to go with it, couldn't have picked a better one myself. Brings tears to my eyes knowing that someone so "alive" is gone forever.

  • Awsome video! A very much loved star!

  • The day she did leave us a part of me did follow her. This clip make her almost immortal !

  • This is a beautiful tribute. I miss Natalie!

  • Certainly one of the great beauties of our generation, remember it being like shell shock when she drowned off Catalina Island. What a wonderful talent she was. Natalie we miss you.

  • Wonderful tribute to such a beautiful and talented actress. I love her facial expression at 11 seconds and how it shows her beauty. Nice way to end it. Good Job!

  • La admiro ya que fue una mujer tan bonita y natural sin sirugias ni nada y tan profesional

  • Your video is stupendous! Have kept it around 18 months.Natalie Woods was great before the mystery of dying young. I loved her movies- she was wonderful in drama, romantic films, comedy, no type casting for her.Your video was very well done

  • 3 favorite natalie wood movies ....this property is condemned ...splender in the grass ...and ..love with a proper stranger ...she was a great talent and beautiful lady...great movies

  • Wow. What an absolutely fabulous video. I loved her in 'The Fugitive Kind' (Tennessee Williams) with Marlon Brando.

  • Just read Natalie Wood's Wikipedia page. I think I served her daughter, Courtney, dinner in her room at the downtown Ramada Inn in Tucson, AZ. around 1992. I was a room service waiter and was told about her before delivering the meal. Tried not to stare but was a bit mesmerized. Blondie (Deborah Harry) was at Ramada around then too. She sang in the lounge in disguise. I didn't know it was her but was very impressed by her voice. Found out next morning it had been Blondie; served her breakfast.

  • Actually, after a little sleuthing, thinking that might have been "Natasha Gregson Wagner" I brought room service to at Ramada. Was only told they (two young girls were in the room) were related to Robert Wagner and Natalie Wood. BTW, favorite part of this video is the very beginning when Natalie Wood opens the door and says "Hi!..Come on in!". Love that.

  • That's still pretty cool. Natasha G. Wagner is very pretty and a part of her Mother's beauty lives on in her. It would be so cool to meet someone who knew or was related to Natalie Wood.

  • Ooops! Meant to say I loved her in 'Splendor in the Grass' with Warren Beatty. Joanne Woodward was in 'The Fugitive Kind' with Marlon Brando. Loved her too.

  • I just made my own Natalie Wood Tribute, please check it out, because I know you guys will really like it.

  • very weird- i woke up today and saw a response to my comment on 'this property is condemmed'.... i started thinking about her and how much i love her and then i left my house. i was still thinking about her as i walked into the bank and this song was playing. this song always makes me cry because of this tribute.... just thought i'd share!

  • SHE WAS 43YRS OLD

  • i've been a natalie fan for over 30 years.

    i'm 43 now.

  • any one knows how old was she when she died? what a stunning lady.........one word to use...........beautiful

  • This video is probably my favorite one of

Natalie. To me she was the epitomy of

beauty. When I was a young girl I wanted to

be her. She is missed and I love this lady.

  • Yes, it stands apart. First class all the way.

  • I love Natalie Wood!

    This is amazing.

  • As ascatt27 said it best she was a wonderful performer. She epitomize elegance and style and from her wonderful performance as a child on "Miracle on 34th St" to my favorite performance in "Love With A Proper Stranger" how wonderful and lovely she was... so sad she was taken so early in her prime. Also, I wished she didn't have to go to her Maker by way of the dark water since this was something she feared.. I just hope some Angel was with her towards the end..

  • Great video and well chosen music. Natalie is one of my favorites. Also that scene where she signals the start of the race in Rebel Without a Cause is another memorable one. RIP Natalie.

  • Thank you, Nice to look back when the world was a better place and family was important.

  • The world of motion pictures, with sadnes loss a truly wonderful performer, and one that will always remain as my childhood sweetheart,in the past and future. Her dark haunting eyes, her petie body, and her dark long hair, always brought enjoyment to me. May her soul be at rest, and how sad that she had to suffer and strain before her deathin the dark waters.she deserves so much better to meet her maker.

  • good job on video its rely nice for u to make it:)

  • One of the best actresses EVER.

  • That says it all! What a beautiful and talented actress. From being a child in "Miracle On 34th St." to one of my favorites "Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice". Great song here that is perfect for this clip. RIP Natalie. We sure miss ya!

  • What's the name of the movie that appears at 4'? Thanks

  • Love with the Proper Stranger

  • Thanks, but I ask at 4 minutes not seconds.

  • Bob&Carol&Ted&Alice

  • Ok. Thanks a lot.

  • She is the kind of woman that men dream about marrying and living happy ever after with.

    Beautiful. Smart. Charming. Fun!

  • im 11 & i dicovered her thru west side story, my fav musical. as u can probably tell... ^^^^ she is so gorgeous! great video.

  • Great clips of Natalie! I was told I looked like her when she played "Gypsy"..I considered that a wonderful compliment! :-) Ironically, I put my hand in her hand at Mann's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood a few days before she died. I loved her in "Splendour in the Grass". I didn't realize how beautiful she was at the time. Looking at her now, I think she was one of the most beautiful actresses in Hollywood! Robert Wagner said she took his breath away. Tragic ending for such a lovely woman.

  • What a beautiful tribute you've made for Natalie. Beautiful lady..Beautiful song..

  • Touching, lovely, and pleasantly sentimental.

    Thank you for this!

  • Someone tell me the name of the film Natalie acted in with Robert Redford.

  • She worked with Redford twice. Once in Inside Daisy Clover and again in This Property is Condemned.

  • Correction. It was the other film I saw. 'This Property is Condemned'.

  • Natalie and Redford were awesome in that film...HOT....and you're very welcome.

  • Beautiful lady. My generation, too. they don't make 'em like her anymore. So sad she died so young

  • She was so beautiful.

  • i dont like that her mama made her change her name..her real name is natalia

  • Natalie Wood is the only one woman that I know of that every man and woman of all ages agrees was a true beauty...For a man, everyone seems to agree it was JFK, Jr....

  • Era un cagado cuando su belleza me cautivó, y hasta la fecha...

    ¡Qué mujer más linda!

  • so gorgeous

  • Wow, Natalie was so-o-o-o hot.

  • Every man's dream.

  • Very True.

One of my ex-girlfriends looks like her.

  • My wife of 39 years is the spittin' image.

When we married, in Carson City Nevada, in 1969, the Justice of the Peace there said "I now pronounce you man and wife" and then he grabbed Alia (my wife)and swept her backwards off her feet almost, kissed her full on the mouth, turned to me and said "You are a lucky man!"

I know, I should have decked him right then and there, but I just said "Give me that!!!"

  • Good story. You LUCKY you!

  • But thy eternal beauty shall not fade

  • Natalie Wood had it all! From a successful child actress to a very successful Leading Actress. Not only was she talented but a true beauty. Natalie should of won the Academy Award for Splendor in the Grass. She is truly missed.

  • So far, the only youtube video that has made me cry! It's a damn shame how she died.

  • The most beautiful woman i've ever seen!

  • My pc has been on the blitz and I just got it back. This is the first thing I went back to and I know I will again and again. Everytime I watch this phenominal, talented beauty, compiled with the sheer serenity of this song I am completely and utterly UNDER THE INFLUENCE of a brilliance I just can not define with words. Thank you for something so uplifting that it can not even be spoken, for if it were, it would be sure to disappoint.

  • Very nice tribute to Natalie Wood. I was told I looked like her (when she made "Gypsy") and I considered that a huge compliment. I also love Alan Parsons Project and their song "Time" is sad and beautiful..very appropriate for this video.
