• Oh gosh, I cried the MOMENT they started singing. You can tell Tori was moved too, it was very sweet.

  • Amazing!

  • Im named after her!!

  • She looks like this is not one of her best days. Have listened to her lots long, long ago, have not followed her since to learn about her, so I don't know, could have been one such day.

Wonder whether she would make time to meet anyone less famous than the choir...

  • Not one of her best days? On her worst of days she tops the negative vibe you have. She always makes time to meet anyone & everyone she can. Our weakness lies in our judgement of others.

  • congrats on being on the Oscars!! Love you guys!!

  • I was thinking about this performance last week, cause this is one of my favorite versions of the song. Just stumbled on you guys being interviewed on the red carpet CONGRATS on making it to the Oscars, you children are inspirational!

  • Watching this again tonight, Gregg, to prepare myself for the Oscar's! Never a time I cannot cry watching.

  • 10 people have no soul . . . .

  • How can people dislike something like this? I can understand not liking the artist, but really - this is an incredibly moving experience, and I don't think there's a more honoring moment for these people. It's a shame people put this event down.

  • This video softens my heart

  • I don't know how many time I've watched this...and every single time it never ceases to make me a bit emotional. Watching Tori's face as they sang "Dragon".

  • Bless Tori! You just know that it's her brother's spirit she feels when those children sing with an innocence and beauty which elevates the song to a whole new realm

  • I love her hair there, it looks sooo beautiful!

  • i.m crying my eyes out! i love you all.

  • God i don't know what it is about her but here mere presence makes me cry man

    in a good way!

  • this is TOO cool !!!

  • About 2 minutes in....there's just something about a group of children singing "Stay with me...and i will bring kisses for the beast" that makes me deeply happy.

  • in the minute 1:20 :)) are so cool <3

  • I hope some of the SONY executives could hear just a bit of the __________(indescribably beautiful) music the kids poured out of their huge hearts.

groups like (name your least fav group) make millions & public school arts programs suffer budget cuts. That is just WRONG. Music, Painting, Drama etc. can make a huge difference in a child's entire life.

Money for Schools Not for War!!!!!

  • @hardinmichael1981 I totally agree.

  • Once Tori started crying I totally lost it. I can clearly see why she was moved to tears. Tori is so amazing to her fans - and these kids are immaculate.

  • I can only imagine his and Tori's nerves gone awire!!!! Sure she plays and does interviews in front of thousands,,, but being put in front of children this way? Proud of her reaction.

  • ANGELS <3

  • This is very sweet <3 Tori must have been happy to hear this.

  • how beautiful if I was Tori I would of been crying like I am now

  • so amazing, brings me to tears. makes me feel so much hope for our future! Thanks for all that you are doing with the wonderful talented kids Mr. B- you are an inspiration!

  • tori has a cool shirt

  • God, these kids gave me the chills and made me weep right along Tori. Beautiful video, these children are amazing :')

  • love this video

  • man i needed this today! i can't stop crying along with Tori!!!

  • The passion of these children touched Tori Amos; an incredibly talented musician.

Your work is in a term no greater: brilliant. Keep the passion.

  • OMG!! these kids are awesome

  • This guy is an incredibly passionate and inspiring teacher. What a doll! Teacher of the Year!

  • Lovely.. She should do some songs with the choir, the experience will be breathtaking and spiritual :)

  • Wow..so lovely:)

I have tears in my eyes..

Thank you Gregg for the Video...:)

    These Kids are cool...

  • This video always brightens my day...thanks Gregg!

  • Tori1 you're just so fabulous for doing this with these amazingly talented kids...show's where your heart is at and you always have time to come together with other artist and make something positive.

  • this video made my life a little bit better.

  • the kids are like who the freak is this we asked for Barnay!

  • Why is it Tori makes me cry lol I cannot imagine my life without her. If i ever wanted to be like anyone it's her. This clip is beautiful!

  • Damn it, Tori! You started crying...then *I* started crying and now I have mascara dripping down my face, lol! What an amazing chorus and song! (I love all the kids at the end snapping pics of Tori w/ their cell phones):)

  • Its difficult to watch this whole exchange without crying. I love Tori and I love children. I can just imagine the feelings surging through everyone involved. Just being able to share the magic of beautiful music together must have been utterly life-changing for all of them. The choir is wonderful and I can't wait to show my choir all the great stuff you've been doing!

  • Tori Amos is my life blood.

  • for sure. since my teens she has been an inspiration. Now I'm nearly 30 and she's always been there

  • i know what you are saying.

i have no idea where i would be without tori and her beautiful sonic reach.

  • Awsome, so cute. Can't believe it.

  • I come over every now and then to watch this. And it brings me tears every time! =) I freakin' love Tori and I love these kids too!

  • I totally understand O.O

  • 5-4 is my birthday :d

  • @madisonen My birthday too!

  • @madisonen My birthday as well!

  • this school isnt far from where i live. i remember reading about this in the local newspaper and being so envious!

  • Dragon is totally my favorite song off ADP, hands down. This is so sweet.

  • I'm beyond ecstatic that these kids have been introduced to Tori at such a young age.

  • He has got to be the coolest music teacher in the whole wide world. What a wonderful, fun experience these kids had, it will teach them valuable lessons.

  • omg absolutely stunning. i am blown away

  • Such a beautiful rendition of Dragon. It stopped my heart. Tori's tearful reaction took it to another level for me. I can't help but feel so proud of Greg and his kids. She must have felt so privileged. She said it best when she said, I am so moved by what you do.

  • amen to that

  • Wonderfull

  • tori amos rules :) woo i been a fan since day one .

  • Wonderful! Tori is indeed class... and this teacher... Where was he when I was in school?! Thank you for posting.

  • wonderful kids,great.

  • Just goes to show what class Tori Amos is compared to these wannabe's. She's on a completely different level of talent and ingenuity than Beyonce, Britney or any of these materialistic "artists". Gorgeous, gorgeous video.

  • you deserve a thousand thumbs up for this comment!

  • I think that's a little unfair. There's only one Tori, and yes she's a prodigy, a genius, but it's just as well all music doesn't sound like hers otherwise we wouldn't appreciate it.

  • You, sir, are doing something powerful.

  • snow can wait...i forgot my mittens

  • I cried when she cried!!! What a raw and amazing moment. How moving.

  • Her reaction made me cry too. lol

  • Gregg- I was so excited to see you on the NY news tonight. I recognized you immediately as my New Paltz friend from Bouton Hall. We saw Tori together in NYC and stood on the dumpsters as she got on her tour bus! I'm so happy to see you doing such beautiful music with these amazingly talented children! That is such important and beautiful work.... wonderful! So exciting for Tori to join you! Beautiful Gregg!

  • That is so unbelievably sweet. What a great heart she has. Those kids are wonderful too :)

  • I am moved in many ways, but mostly by Mr. B. He is going to affect the course of many, many kids' lives during his career. He is just such a natural.. unique.. totally himself. What a lucky guy to know what his calling is and to do the work to make it happen. Not many are so lucky to truly know what they are meant to do...

  • I wish I'd had a teacher like him. I always wanted to be in a choir, so so badly. I applied in school but they said I wasn't good enough and would bring down the 'quality' of the choir. I was so devastated because it's all I really wanted to do and they wouldn't let me do it. I guess they forgot what music was really about.

  • I love Mr. B's reaction to being in Tori's presence! And the kids snapping photos with their cell phones is great too :)

  • not too many songs bring tears to my eyes....maybe the combination of watching tori cry and the tenderness of the kids' voices....

  • Wow!! Did Tori Amos just SELL OUT!! JUST KIDDING. :) Don't get mad at me people. I'm a bit surprise and somewhat moved by this video. Its too bad I don't know this new song by Tori Amos.

  • Well... it's like, 3 years old. You should take a listen to the album, "American Doll Posse". :)

  • That is so cute. lol

  • This is so beautiful.

  • That was one of the most beautiful things I ever saw. There could be no higher compliment for a performer.

  • What was the song early in this video before Tori came?

  • This is amazing.

    Nothing else really to say

  • i love watching these videos

  • What song are they singing?

  • dragon by tori amos

  • That is so not fair MR.B they are so luck to meet her.

  • Oh my God! This makes me LOVE Tori even more if thats even possible!!!

  • I agree. Completely :)

  • This is so amazing.

  • These kids will never forget the feeling of being part of that choir. Bravo, Gregg! This brings me back. Support arts education, music education.

  • I totally agree.

This brought tears to my eyes.

Thanks God for the amazing chagelenge-taking, inspirational new music teachers!

  • He taught children her work so they're empowered by knowledge of her. Tori will be recognized more after her death-like most artists ahead of their time. Dragon was probably something Tori needed to hear at the time-think it has something to do with her pretending to believe her label wanted to hold on to her. Glad she got to see that children were learning and appreciating her new song. Most of the time, fans look at music from the past, which is somewhat hurtful.

  • @CutieTM26 "think it has something to do with her pretending to believe her label wanted to hold on to her" - what do you mean by this? is it part of the song meaning or something that was going on 'behind the scenes'?

  • this is truly amazing!!! leaves me speachless.

  • Ahhh this is so cute!!!!

  • I'm a grown man and this video brings me to tears every time I watch it!!! A soon as the kids start singing dragon the tears start to come...

  • Great! ^^ I didn't knew this :P

  • lol... that's so cute how around 5:36 all the kids brought out their camera phones and started taking pictures of her.

  • I´m not the only one who cries when listen to this wonderfull guys...

    :) ♥

  • I can't stop watching. Tori has inspired you and in turn you have inspired so many children.

  • simply breathtaking! these kids are sooo lucky to have a teacher who can truly teach them the healing powers of music. gregg you are one in a million.

  • That's so inspiring. How awesome. Tearing me up...

  • Why are these kids making us all cry!? Ahhh. I am so addicted.

  • this brought tears to my eyes, so beautiful. These kids bring inspiration

  • omg, I still cry every time... I love her, I so love her. And I also love you guys.

  • damnit these kids always make me cry

  • these kids are so amazing...

  • TEAR!!

  • sweet

  • i think this is great but it looks like theyre in a hallway, and i think they deserve a stage. thanks for uploading :)

  • Awesome!

  • i luv them =]

  • I love Tori...

  • hehe 50th time watching this, can't get enough...!!!!!!!

  • Aw, this is so beautiful. I got all teary eyed.

  • All I have to say is that I am not someone who is easily moved and these kids really moved me. I loved them singing Dragon (I have to admit that though I own American Doll Posse, I only know one song and didn't even know Dragon was on it). What you're doing with these kids is amazing. And again, I consider myself to be a very tough person but seeing what you do, it really moved me. Keep up the good work both, what you guys do is really great.

  • Aww, just listen to Tori they say, "Dragon," and she is shocked and says,"they like Dragon."

Dragon is an epic song though, and I was so thrown back that the kids like it, and it is a true blessing to their lives. I only wonder how intellectual I'd be today if I was introduced to an Artist li Tori when I was younger. And I was craving for something more cleansing and healing, and good their listening to age appropriate version. Although, I don't think an edited version of Dragon is needed.

  • She must feel incomprehensible happiness. The whole concept and framework of American Doll Posse was to access a large demographic, not in a stereotypical commercial sense. The writing in this music enables access to a person on a human level "can you feel now what I'm talkin' about", and a component of that is she inspiring younger generations , Ruby. I would usually find it odd kids this young would like it. It affirms the healing qualities of Tori's work; I am inspired hearing them sing it.

  • Tori is an incredible spirit.

  • Wow...what song are they singing?

  • "dragon" by tori amos....

  • hey mr b rember me kemi from da 2001-2002 p.s 22 chours wow ...thiis is so coool miss u alot alot mr b

  • I love this

  • MR. B!! aww MR.B is always great!!

i graduated from 22 too i missed him!

    hes the best music teacher!

  • Brought me to tears as well. *sigh*

  • wow!!! this is amazing!!

  • I get in love with Tori every time I see her doing amazing things like this.

  • Holla PS 22! You with Tori? Amazing. Brilliant. I love you all.

  • Look at Tori. She's crying, and so am I watching this! This is just amazing stuff..you must have such joy from teaching these kids these songs.

  • oh wow.. I'm speechless.

The Innocence of a child is the Spirit of the Universe.

  • sweet :-)

  • Damn, that's pretty.

That's kinda the proving ground for a good melody, innit? If kids make it elevate off the ground.

Like "Another Brick in the Wall." Kidding.

  • beautiful!!

  • god damn i just did my make up... i love it!!

  • I am a grown man and I am crying watching this. Thanks you for posting this.

  • Great stuff

  • magic x

  • ah im crying too

    how wonderful though

  • Hard to watch because I'm tearing up so much. ha. I'm such a sucker for Tori already; add kids to the mix and I'm on the floor...

  • Wow. I'm tearing for reasons of my own.Music - that's always been it .I have been teaching english n highschools unsucessfully for a decade now while I had grt experiences with choirs whileI subbed. Music is the solution!

  • i want to be in your class ;) thank you

  • OH MY GOSH!!!!! I am just sobbing!!!

  • made me cry *sniffles*

there is just something about these kids which are so pure and untouched, which no other performer can really encompass.

and they're so passionate and adorable!!!!!!!!

  • how can you not tear up just a little. okay if there is a heaven, that guy is going.

  • I didn't know who tori amos is. but the song is so good, and the kids seem to really like singing!

  • Amazing. There needs to be more teachers as passionate about their work as you are. They sang wonderfully.

  • I cried when I watched this video. You are an amazing teacher. Those kids are so lucky to have you.

  • Wow, I think this is the best complement an artist can receive.

  • SO BEAUTIFUL!

  • I was brought to tears watching this!! Fantastic!!

  • These songs take on such a different meaning when children sing them. So earnest and heartbreaking.

  • i have been around choirs almost my entire life and have NEVER heard a school childrens with voices as pure as these. not only are they gifted but i can see in their eyes how much they truely love the music itself. if only everyone had a music teacher like you Greg. i am truely happy that Tori chose to visit you guys. you all deserve it!

  • I can just hear them doing "When a Star Falls Down," ha ha.

  • Oh god i am so teary right now.

  • What an amazing thing to have happen agreggofsociety! I was a big fan of hers back in the 90's and of course she is still great today. Now if only you could get Bjork to come down next, then that would be awesome!!.. Well done and great video :)

  • im so glad you guys got to meet her...

    you truly deserve it :)

  • omg it makes me cry and tori is so sweet and all..as are the kids!

  • damn this video make me cry everytime !!

    it's amazing

  • what song are the kids singing at 03-07 seconds into the video...they wrap it up just before Tori shows up....???????

  • "De Bat (Fly In Me Face)" by Carly Simon. There's a complete version of them doing it posted as well. :)

  • Oh my God!!!! I am so happy for you guys! I've loved this chorus since I first heard about you. And that you finally got through and met Tori Amos is just Awesome!!!

    Your choir is adorable!!

  • This was wonderful! How lucky to have met Tori. She's amazing. Very touching :)

  • She's so wonderful!!!!

  • ♥

  • This video is so amazing.... brought me to tears. You truly are amazing.

  • You kids really diserved this! :)

  • This video doesnt render justice to Tori indeed...I have hugged her in that way, and felt her smell!

  • Felt her smell? fuhreekie dude

  • well i wasn't gonna say it.... :)

  • *giggle*

  • There are so many wonderful things about this. One, Tori crying teared me up and I am SO not a crier. Two, Tori being able to burst into song without warm-up. Three, the absolute love these kids obviously have for their teacher. Four, the devotion the teacher has to the kids. If only I'd had a music teacher like this growing up, how very different my outlook on music (and my abilities) would be. :^)

  • winterlionin - yes. you nailed it. everything you said, I agree with. A little "thumbs up" wouldn't do that justice. These kids are INCREDIBLE and Tori is amazing, as always.

  • You guys -- words of thanks don't say enough! But thanks just the same!! :)

  • I LOVE this!!!

  • Great again as usual, I was in tears. I couldn't stop laughing though when I saw most the kids pull out the cell phones for pics LOL Amazing how many 5th graders have phones now!

  • Boucingggg offf clouuuudssss

  • You are so wonderful! I am happy for you, clearly a wish come true and much deserved. This is so beautiful! Make it happen baby!!!!!!
