i know on the cl 15 there is a trigger like thing where the vison is set in just pull it and it pops out but i dunno if the cl 12 is like that i bet it is though if you recently bought it from a store
i saw a video of a guys wrecked bike and his helmet, it was this helmet, it looked like it held up alright but to be honest its super loud when im cruising.
Maybe it's because it's a bit large on you? I have the same helmet and it isn't loud when I am riding -- granted, I don't usually go on the freeway but on rural highways it is silent

i aslo forgot to mention everytime i turn my head to the right it whistles real loud. not to the left though only the right
