XD If you want to speak a proper west coast scottish accent then you need to learn your vowels. A - E - I - O - U
(ay - ee - I ,like myself, - oh - you)
and the sounds
ah - eh - ih - aw - ooh - uh
and to pronounce you R's
and then incorporate them into your normal american accent, basically you need to learn how to talk proplerly. English American and Spanish people are terribly for not using the correct vowels.
No I am not. im an american kid from North Carolina. lol. do i sound a bit pakistani? i cant help it. i have lots of accents i can do. and i dont really have my own accent anyways, because i moved around a lot when i was a kid. so i never developed one.
Its the kinda ridiculous over exaggerated scottish accent that americans and other poeple around the world think we sound like! honestly, i promise we don't sound that stupid. or talk about shepherds and sheep.
You sound a bit more Irish, to be honest, but this seems a common mistake. I found it a little bit hard to understand at first, honestly (I'm Scottish, btw). I'd try listening to Scottish accents because it's probably the best way :)
You're speaking with too much intonation. You also don't have much lip-movement. Look at my videos, watch "Scottish Insults" and watch my mouth. Other thing you'll need to do while doing any accent is think about it unpresently. Have the ideas in the back of your head, but don't concentrate too hard on it. It's hard to explain that, but yeah, maybe my video will help. Good attempt, though
I always give 4 out of 5 for an attempt no matter how good or bad it is. I give 5 out of 5 if it's convincing enough.
I think the main problem is that you try and retain too much American in your accent - and it shows in the overall output - hence why so many attempts sound more Irish.
Your getting there, currently sounding like an irish pakistani.

was doing my best. americans like us whop judge these things are usually idiots. and it was a humorous ice. is not accurate.

im just trying to impress a few judges. it needs to be passing. again, it was a humorous piece, and was not meant to be taken seriously.

Not the best, but hardly the worst either.
