I've always liked originals over remakes and remixes. The 1990's remixes of a lot of 80s songs made them sound shallow and reduced them to computerized bass beats for strung out drug addicts on dance floors who are more or less dancing to the thumping sound and not the actual music.... and people say the 80s were shallow, I think the overly one sided grungy beats of the 90s were way more shallow. Specially with their overpriced Woodstock remake and sell out bands. YUK!
