  • @nineko LOL Dr. Robotnik stomped "THE END"!!

  • Wait was that Chaos Control that made the emeralds disappear i'm confused

  • 2:15 Eggman:I HATE THAT ENDING!!

  • 1:43 YES, OH THE MUSIC, YES.

  • streets of rage 1 and 2 were much better

  • How To Get 360 Waves With Bill Cosby!

  • 1:36

    zOMG SONIC MOONWALK THAT BISH!

  • @Nineko Well, I make it to that special stage a lot, but I always end up in goal without even getting a glimpse of the chaos emerald.

  • How do you get emeralds in this game?

  • @ChrisGamer13 If you finish the first or the second act of any zone (except for Scrap Brain Zone) with 50 rings or more, a big ring will appear next to the end of level signpost. Jump into it and you get warped to a special stage, which is a maze. At that point you just have to find the emerald.

  • @nineko also to get emarald u must roll over squares with colours that eventually after changing colour disapear allowing access to emarald

  • .......why is the music on the wrong stages hahaha xD exept the star light thing and the brain zone xD

  • 2:15 I HATE THAT HEDGEHOG D:<

  • They are playing the wrong music in the wrong zones!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 0:16 what w-wait how'd he do that

  • the original bad guy was Dr. Robotnik but because they wanted to market more towards adolescents they changed the name to eggman.....really lame cause i grew up with the original series on TV with robotnik

  • @mattclay321 Non... it's the other way XD The original was Eggman, like it was called in the games; then they called him Robotnik to market more, because it was a more commercial name. The games were BEFORE the series ;)

  • @Tiduses1 You are mistaken - 2 reasons 1. the manual i still have with my sega calls him "Dr. Robotnik" to go along the theme of the 90's which was a clash of developers and enviornmentalists. 2. an interview with the creator "Yuji Naka has explained that "Robotnik" is the character's real name while "Eggman" is a "common name taken after his shape"

  • @mattclay321 Yep, that's right, but we were talking about the "original name", that is, the first one they gave him, and it was Eggman. If you look in the games, he is always called Eggman. In the manuals they call him by both names because of what I was saying before: they changed the name for america (your manual is from America or Europe, ain't it?). And that interview you mention, it was done AFTER the release of the games in America, so it's kind of an "excuse" to the name change ;)

  • Where are your facts coming from? Im quoting Segas site so theres really no argument as to authenticity and fact. Can you show me where your facts are from? I am aware that eggman was the popular european/asian name but according to sega and what i grew up with it would be Dr. Ivo Eggman Robotnik. But you wouldnt call a doctor by his middle name would you? The interview proves my point thus his name is properly Dr. Ivo Eggman ROBOTNIK.

  • @mattclay321 His name is Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik, Eggman between commas because now it is his alias, it's not his middle name. And my facts come from Wikipedia: "The original English instruction manual for his 1991 debut game Sonic the Hedgehog described the character's full name as Dr Ivo Robotnik, while the Japanese version's instruction manual for the same game called him Dr Eggman". According to this quote, the name was obviously changed for Western buyers. BTW,such a geek talk, isnt it? XD

  • basically in the end, the chaos emeralds powers are used to turn green hill zone into emerald hill zone. now you know where emerald hill zone got its name

  • i remember these games... on sonic 2 the farthest i reached was the oil level's boss. it was challenging but fun! nowadays sega is making bull.

  • @superduperfunz You might want to rephrase that, say Sonic Team, not SEGA

  • 1:18 good music ftw.

  • best music ever

  • Bad Ending; Eggman: TRY AGAIN! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Good Ending; Eggman: I HATE THAT HEDGEHOG!

  • dont you ever say "Eggman" again...

  • Why? Cause you rather say call him Robotnik then his Offical/japanese name? I can call Eggman whatever i want.

  • Dr. Ivo fuckin Robotnik >=O

  • Robotniks a cool name and all, But i perfer to can call him Eggman and theres nothing you can do to stop me! >:D

  • I can stop you instead -- I just need to disable comments for this video :v

    But I won't :p

  • He started it, Besides at least i'm not forcing anybody to call Eggman or Robotnik.

  • Hey, it was a joke, as you could tell by the :p

  • ill continue my senseless and ill-attempt at verbal abuse. that will stop him....bed wetter

  • What?

  • im verbally assaulting you sir, en guarde. flat footed hobo. :P

(i hope you arent taking me seriously)

  • @Michaeldragon800

You with Blaze: "OH YEAH BIBY!!! CUM HARE!!! YOU SO HOT!!!" *rapes blaze*

You not with Blaze: "Damn it, Why are people still making fun of me?"

  • For a second, I was confused by the words "Good Ending" but now I see you're just talking about the all Emerald ending. i get it. Too bad they didn't do shit in Sonic 1. lol

  • THE OLD ONE :)

    MY FAVORITE

  • Eggman lost! xP

    Eggman: No good hedgehog!

  • Fuck "eggman"

    All about Robotnik!

  • he wasnt eggman back then he was robotnik WHY DID THEY CHANGE IT

  • because he looked like an egg

  • He's always been Eggman in Japan, so I guess they wanted to unify the naming convention instead of having separate names for East and West. In any case, according to creator Yuji Naka, Robotnik is the real name, while Eggman is the alias.

  • omg. last time i have playing this game was 10 ears ago..

from where i can download it?

  • i loved this

tried setting up my sega but wouldnt work

    ):

  • good remix

  • I want the song that have all the tracks from all the levels but without that sounds! please... can you get it to me?

  • Does getting all the emeralds really even change the game, I mean, do you get to change into Super Sonic in this one? Or do you have to got to the second one for that?

  • There are seven chaos emeralds, Sonic is only able to obtain 6 at most in this game. So No, He doesn't. But In future games, he can obtain all 7.

  • because theres only 6 chaos emeralds, sega made it so that u dont die by hitting badniks (u fall backwards as if u just lost a shield)

    works with bosses to.

  • No. That only happens in debug mode.

  • Oh, Ok. ^^ Thanks.

  • This game was really cool. I love playing Sonic yet. Sayonara my friends.

  • is it just me or did anyone notice that there was only 6 chaos emeralds instead of 7?

  • Thats how many there were originally

  • Pretty much all the Game Gear games continued with this.

  • the seventh was introduced in sonic 2 which allowed him to become super sonic

  • @PerfectChaos1212 More or less...I'd argue both a 7th emerald and the Super Sonic concepts were introduced in Sonic 2. But that's nit picking. :P

    Cheers!

  • For some reason, if you use level select and you beat the game with all the emeralds, it always gets the bad ending. I don't know why, probably because it knows that you cheated.

  • I never beat the game always got fa but never beat it, and you meen to tell me thats the ending, lmao, aww man, i wudda been tight

  • I got the 'bad' ending on this game when I was younger. Looks like I didn't miss out on too much.

  • Yeah, they're almost the same.
