What about the hardware switch? Is it locked?If not...
Can you open the access connections with FN+F5?
There you should be able to activate every single Wifi/3G/Bluetooth Connection.
If access connections is open but Wifi is not listed there you have to reinstall the drivers. .. if so, ask again, we will tell you the order to deinstall and install the drivers :)
