i think the reason why planet dinosaur doesnt compare completely to Walking with Dinosaurs is because when WWD was produced, we werent in debt, we werent having money problems as we are now, and I think they tried to make a documentary to be the same as WWD, because of money shortages by the goddamn Libdem/Conserv Coalition British Government, they couldnt make it the same in detail or mastery due to that very reason.

I may be wrong though, so dont trust me if you dont want to.

If I'm honest Planet Dinosaur is great but just not as great as it's predecessor : Walking With Dinosaurs. It's done two things. 1. Told me how to pronounce Carcharodontosaurus's name and produced a very flawless theory of how Tyrannosaurus Rex is still the most supreme carniverous predator that walked the earth.

@MrPwnagemeister same hear i bet we all would love the archaology mod in multiplayer... even though archaology isnt dinosaur studys but they added pteranodons, plesiosaurs, nautilus's, and mososaurs!

I didn't really notice most of the problems people wrote about the movement of the dinosaurs because the camera work distracted me. It's as if the "camera man" was constantly trembling. And about a third of the shots were either too short or had these weird-ass angles, and when viewed as a sequence, it made me feel a bit disorientated. There was no style to it, just random angles.

And I agree about its shortness. The whole story was too rushed. It made the show feel very monotone and dry.
