  • Wow...those are some trees there! I've just started a spruce in my kitchen window at Christmas. It's maybe 1 1/2 inches tall. I suspect it's got a ways to go. Imagine, those trees were once little...just like my little tree. Amazing, really. From a tiny seed!

  • Nice video of the gigantic Spruces trees at Queets and Quinault . The largest Cedar at Quinault is the largest tree in the world outside of California. and the Kalaloch Cedar is worth a look see too. Putting up Videos of the big trees is a good thing to do.

  • @rainforestdon Yes I made a trip to the big cedar on the other shore, but i left my camera on charge duh silly me, that cedar really is massive though made me think of a turret of a castle, we have lots of castles in the UK

  • excellent! that is a beautiful area. so sad that right down the road a littlle ways are the world's largest sitka spruce ... stumps. there used to be even bigger trees around there.

    This is a Sitka spruce tree growing near the Queets River in Olympic National Park. It is the largest spruce in the world with a trunk volume of 337 m³ (11,901 cubic feet) and an estimate age of 350-450 years.
