Excellent full flight vid, with so much details. You had the best seat in the house, too bad trust reverse in the rain was a bit mild (Typical of EVA).

@linjeflyg Thank you very much, i hope i done Eva justice..I was in Thailand when they had the bad floods...i was only there for 5 days then i had to return home (not due to the flood though)..

@SoShiTaeNyjjang Hello, the flight was very good...though the IFE is not as good as Emirates or Qatar...i would as go to say as the food service was as good as Emirates and Qatar...seat wise?..earlier this year i had flown on Qatars angled flat seat and for me their seat was better...but with that all been said i still slept well without slipping down my seat when i made it flat for sleeping...if you can get a good priced ticket with Eva in business...go for it...i will again.

Mark, this is simply an excellent video. Your steak looked quite delicious. Was it? It's too bad that you didn't like the congee. Many times, they have non-weird stuff that is quite tasty, but if looks like in your case, you got some exotic food. The plane looked extremely comfortable and quiet.  I was surprised that EVA flew LHR-BKK non-stop. I would have assumed that it would have stopped over in TPE since it's a Taiwanese airline. Will you show some video of your Bangkok adventures?

@sfflyer123 Thank you very much..Yes the steak was delicious...im more of a chicken person myself but just fancied the beef..that brown pork stuff for the congee was very sweet..Eva run this flight the same time as Thai run theirs. China airlines the other Taiwanese airline started flying direct from LHR to TPE last year after it got a licence to carry pax..up until then China was only allowed to fly corgo in the the UK by order of the DFT...they use A340.300 on the 13+ hour flight.

@19bootsy68 That's great information. 13+hour flight sounds painful, but at least you were in business class. I have heard that EVA business was better than China Airlines business. I am looking forward to videos of Bangkok!

@sfflyer123 Yes Eva are better than China....China's business class on their B747.400 is very poor and from what i've been told it's not that much better on their other planes...but they are cheap and for worth going for if you want a cheap C class ticket...still better that been in Y class....the video is from the island of Phuket...it shall be up by the end of the week :)

@truly0phinoy Eva do some fantastic food...that is one great thing with them...good airline on a whole...i pre picked my seat so i was at the back nearer the engine...plus its a small cabin 12 seats in there..on my return i was on standby as i had to come home early so i was in the other business class cabin and could not see the engines..

Well done Mark. That was one of the best flight report videos you have made so far. For me, the amount of detail you covered was fantastic. Close ups of the menu, PTV etc, all very good indeed. I must admit that Eva Air is not an airline I have much knowledge in, but it looked like a very nice Business Class product. @craiglsimons Thanks Craig, Eva are a good airline...the female F.A.'s were like models ;) the food was nice..i thought the 10 inch PTV were on the small side..and the IFE was not amazing..but on the whole if you want a good direct flight to BKK with good service for the price Eva fit that bill....Qatar, Etihad and Emirates are way better though...would i stick with Eva?..maybe....You know me Craig i will always give you good feedback...hey i stayed in a Yotel down Heathrow...i videod it :)

@19bootsy68 So Eva Air is a medium expensive airline. The meals looked good though and the iMap looked nice too. Sounds like they are similar to Air Asia X - who fly a non stop cheapish service from Stansted to Kuala Lumpur. The furthest east i've been is Israel and Egypt, but I would very much like to travel to southeast Asia.

I shall check out your 'Yotel' video now! Keep up the good work =)

@craiglsimons Yes Craig you could say that but it also depends on when you book the flight...just like you with Easyjet...i've seen this fare really high...i think with Air Asia X you pay for the extras, meal, IFE...and that...don't worry im sure one day i will see you upload a Southeast Asia flight one day...and the detail you put into making airline videos i think will be an hour long ;) Im just joking Craig...i know you have that eye for detail..

@craiglsimons No problem Craig...im uploading my Thai Airways Domestic flight from Bangkok to Phuket right now...well just started...the flight was only an hour long but check the size of the seat i was in...i thought i was Homer 3152 for an hour...i really did!!...i wanna win the lottery so bad....my flight idols are Homer3152 and sfflyer123...i wanna be like them...and fly First Class most of the time :)

@19bootsy68 Great! Look forward to seeing it! I too would like to travel First Class, but only if someone else was paying! The prices of First Class flights are mind-boggling and I honestly can't come to terms with it! It's better to fly Economy and then treat yourself at your destination, where you can enjoy the first class treatment for longer!!

He flies weekly Business Class AMS-BKK with them.

@HamburgAirport I loved this flight cos i didnt need to change planes...if i had of been flying economy than yes a change of planes would of been ok..saying that my Air France flight to L.A.X. was just as long as this flight and it was not that bad in economy...Its a long story about the Eva Air lounge if thats what you mean...i got some of it on video but only the food bit as Eva staff stopped me from videoing :( the lounge is not wide but it was long..

@RvXKaz Thanks Gavin...yes Eva are a good airline..sadly the congee was not to my taste...i was offered a western breakfast but didn't take it as i was not that hungry anyway...it's a little long this video and thats because i got the wine list on video for Homer..
