I can understand that, though I don't hate RTD but Iam really disapointed in him. I sort of feel a bit let down by him, if that makes any sense.

Being a timelord would explain his fascination with stop watches lol. It's possible as i have wondered if it's somekind of alien tech but Ianto never realised it. After all was'nt Ianto the only member of the team who did'nt 'borrow' any alien tech in the first ever epi.

It's possible the napkins saved him, i mean we never actually saw him being buried so maybe the doctors got it wrong he was just in a coma but Gwen and Jack did'nt know. Thus when Jack left the planet he and Gwen belived Ianto was dead, but in truth he's still alive.
