They don't need anyone on keys if its a pre-recorded sample track. Just plays throughout their whole set list.

Its a NES tracking software called NerdTracker2. The tracks are coded to a NES catridge, and then played through an NES.

The software is complex. There is a similiar one, that I find in my own personal opinion much simpler, its called FamiTracker.
