  • XD When i grow up I wanna live in Masdar Cityyyy!!!:D

  • You can build it, but will they come? And will they live the way you want them to? Technological infrastructure is one thing, but having a socially responsible and aware populace to actually live individual zero footprint lives requires a significant shift in the overall value system. Will the populace sustain their livelihoods and meet their needs with zero waste? Or will they uphold a culture of mass consumerism and wasteful commerce regardless of the city infrastructure?

  • @TheSoundscapePoet "Mass consumerism" is no longer sustainable, resources are not infinite and people going to Masdar know this. Simply speaking, this is a natural evolution of our society. If mass consumerism will continue, the % of poor people will drastically grow and there will be too many civil disorders, and you have to consider technological unemployement too. More and more people will soon understand that we need to change our social/economic model.

  • Where's the private property, ability to post public descent - AKA freedom of speech. Nature is beautiful - back to basics - not to Corporations owning everything

  • How much money to move in? :))

But honestly, this looks great, I'd move there if I could.

  • @Mykayel but what about a job? Do you have one to bring with you?
