  • This is a "reissue" print, 'Earl'- the original copyright notice was credited to "Silverstone Films", Don Fedderson's production company {they also produced Betty White's "DATE WITH THE ANGELS" for ABC in 1957-'58}. CBS bought the rights to the series in 1958 (as they did with Fedderson's "MY THREE SONS" later), and began repeating it on their daytime schedule in 1959, parceling it into syndication after it went off-network in '63. The original opening featured a "Colgate" I.D.....
