Technically speaking that was Sopespian. The movie changed his death from the book where Peter cuts off his head after he and Glozelle start the fight up (Glozelle kills Miraz in the book though not Sopespian). In this they turned Glozelle into one of Miraz's generals rather than a lord under him like in the book. It was interesting to see how they made him a man serving evil but becoming good in the end though (he's made into the first Telmarine to enter the tree as described in the book).

Funny...this scene, in contrast to the other ones, seems less epic in the pre-viz than in the movie! Although the river god pwns in this version... 8D
