  • What a rush this must be..

  • wanna know the worst part about making this video was:

    riding up it ;)

respect guys, hopefully see you at 3 peaks next year

  • would it be funny if a bike passed up a motorized vehicle?... wait, that just happened

  • Hi good video, quick and safe;-)

  • How fast were you going?

  • Nice, I can't wait to try that here!

  • That looks fun

  • they need these guys for police up there

  • ha ha lOve it! nice riding.. i can tell the guys excited too ha ha

  • Great riding guys. Ford Falcon ute no match for Roadies going downhill ;-)

  • I wonder what the guy in the car thought? lol and can you get pulled over for going over the speed limit? gosh I can't wait for snow to melt and good weather t

  • Don't you hate it when you have to slow down for those damn cars? xD

  • nice cornering @0:40

  • Awesome descent!

  • Descending is the absolute best part after a long climb, specially if it is steep, fast and has many corners :D :D

  • All i can hear is fucking cicadas lol

  • Fuck I love cycling.

  • wut the fuck. you mofos are on the wrong side of the fucking road and cars have to swerve to the other side of the road every fucking time. mofos. Learn to fucking ride mofos.

  • @SubUrbanHunter

You are really smart , well done !

Want a hint ? They drive on the left side in Australia.

  • @SubUrbanHunter

no they're not on the wrong side of the road you knob in australia we drive on the left side of the road

  • helmet cam or on bike cam ?

  • hit 58.2mph today ;)

  • @glozick Cool, the fastest I've been is only 47.6mph down the String Road in Arran.

  • looks so fun wow thats fast!

  • how did you keep the wind sound to a minimum?

  • @Bhousm76 If you've ever seen a camera crew with a boom mic, the big 'foam' or feathery thing that goes over like a sock is exactly for that. In this case, no clue. But the idea is the same.

  • his random laughs are the pure joy of hauling ass

  • wooooooooooooowwwwww im going to quit mtb start road cycling and go here

Is it hard to take the corners at this speed

  • @mtbxcfreak no but if you brake or try to ditch or freak out while in the corner you are screwed...

  • @shorerydr10 thanks for the reply

  • if you wanna go even faster, sit on your downtube and put your head over your handlebars. Sounds sketchy but the speed is well worth it

  • @shorerydr10 Buy a top tube pad from Republic bicycles

  • @stopglobalswarming top tube pads are stupid. I dont need one.....

  • @shorerydr10 It does make it faster but you can feel the balance of the bike is all wrong when you do it. Hats off to those that can do it

  • @shorerydr10 If you want to be able to see, my method works fine. I just sit a bit further back on my seat (my ass is right on the back), flatten my back and have my head right up. If I want to go even further, I'll have my ass haanging over the rear wheel and my chest brushing my seat. Fingers on the brakes, just in case...

  • How fast?

  • this is badass

  • i just did i local hill climb and decent and its the greatest feeling to be alive at the bottom!

  • insanely dangerous, but nice video

  • what a great reward after a suffer-fest of a climb...i love descents...big cyclist (6' 195lb)

  • @MTOTOwaNYAYO I love em too, but I'm only 125lb so I can't really go that fast

  • WOAH

  • drag that knee!

  • brakessssssss!

  • Nice video...

  • Nice video, guys. Sweet.

  • is that just after the meg hairpin corner??

  • try that on a fixie

  • now that would just be gay

  • haha wat r u on man

  • nothing, id rather go really fast then skid down something and go really slow and make my tire square

  • lol same i ment it as a joke

  • haha okay

  • that look really fun.

  • If your ever in CO, hit up gremont pass (11,300) and you can hit 50mph easy. I hit 52.1 mph solo

  • North Carter Lake near Loveland, I hit 59.9. It's definitely the most accessible steep downhill on the Front Range.

  • What the hell. Did they catch the motorbike or what? Bet ya he crapped his pants when he saw the three cyclists on his ass!!

    Wicked!

  • you can hear the motorcycle gun it when he's seen three guys on bicycles coming up on him

  • love how you all passed the truck

  • SOO Fast. I've got a great bike, but I get a hint of handlebar vibration if I go that fast. Those guys just look like they're on rails. Is that the difference between a $2000 and a $5000 bike?

Or are these the pro pros.

  • $2000 should be enough to stop handle bar vibration. Check ur fully balanced.

  • Having your bike correctly assembled with average components will suffice-this is the step overlooked. Typically, you get a proper assembly and pro fit with a $5,000 bike-not monkeys assembling it on a weekend.

  • Inspiring descent gents. I'll take my bike up there when the weather clears... Nice post.

  • That is inspiring, I'm going to do the same

  • wheres that located?

  • nice

  • Just rode this last week. Awesome climb and fun on the way down too. We were flying, but not dumping it quite so hard into the left handers. Takes nerves, that's for sure.

  • I'm saving up for a road bike at the moment with a few sacrifices. Now, after watching this video, I wanna sacrifice everything!

  • will the road bikes have good traction, like i go down hills and turn sharp on my mountain bike at high speeds, id like to go faster but im wondering if the road bikes will give out from under me and slip at 30 mph, this would not be fun.

  • if your tires are not 10 million years old and you're an average skilled rider you will have nothing to be afraid of. It's not that road bikes have alot less grip on the road than mountain bikes. Just go easy on the turns.

  • The turning traction of a road bike on the road is far more consistent than mountains would be. It's truly much safer. I only had a mountain bike for a long time, so switching to road felt strange, but once you get over the lack of a front shock you realize you have a lot more stick and control on descents.

  • not much to worry about at thirty. worry at fiftey. my advice would be dont start off right away with huge descents. take it slow and get a feel for a bike. mtb and road bikes are completely different machines in that respect

  • thats frikkin wicked

  • i love overtaking cars on downhill rides

  • that is awesome so fast

  • sick !!!

  • how fast was that, wicked video, overtaking that car aswell lol

  • Fuckin awesome....

  • Ummm....hate to fall?

  • where'd you place the camera?

  • Not very brainy....One day a car or animal might be around the next bend....Don't worry about us locals who have to use the road all the time.

  • dying is all part of the fun

only spiolsports complain when they get hit

  • really nice video!! But why the lousy compression?? Would it be possible to upload it once more with better quality??

    /Mikael

  • nice video guys, i think i need to go on a training trip to bright soon! Should film urselves down Baw Baw, that'd be sweet.

  • they have road bikes!

  • Awesome...i would sh#t myself doing that....what type of bike have you guys got?

  • i like tHAT OVERTAKE!!!! haha revenge of the cyclysts whoo hooo,

AT LEAST 90 KMHR MATE lol

  • Nice, how fast were you going and what bikes do you have.
