  • You fuckwits who have put 999 were jumping on the Ants bandwagon - Nick Cash and Guy Days are both big fans of Ennio Morricone and recorded this, Obsessed and Wild Sun as singles. Absolutely nothing to do with the Ants. I've heard the original by Paul Revere & The Raiders and Don Fardon's cover - all have their merits.

  • tomahawk and knife

  • Love it!

  • 999 jumping on the ants bandwagon.? in the words of the indian who stood in buffalo dung.......BULLSHIT.!!

  • Totally jumped on antz bandwagon, who can blame them? Bands have to shift records. 2011 antz and 999 on tour and doing what they do best, playin they're old school punk songs to their original fans

  • Very good cover-version !!!

  • Man it's fucking great. Even old fucker like me (that is 1/4 indian can appriate this

  • who the fuck can hate this song

  • They weren't jumping on any bandwagon. Both Nick Cash and Guy Days are fans of Ennio Morricone and the result was 'Obsessed', 'Indian Reservation' 'Blaze of Noon' and 'Wild Sun'.

  • I remember Peter Powell playing this on Radio 1...or was it Wild Sun?

  • Well to be straight an forward, it makes me feel like an asshole for not being around to see this take place

  • Found out to late someone?

  • Were 999 jumping on the Antz /Bow wow wow bandwagon around this time ?

Sad end to a once great band.

  • Great song but I prefer their early material.

  • Oh man, good stuff. Thanks for that, I've been looking for this song for a while - screw the Tim Mcgraw copy, dude didn't even give credit.

  • I have to say I like The Raiders version a lot better.

  • Haven't heard this in decades. Thank you so much for posting. Does anyone have "Blaze of Noon" from the "Identity Parade" album?

  • ...coole Scheibe. 999 habe ich schon live im Live Station Dortmund gesehen. War so um 1988. Geiles Konzert, geile Mucke.
