Love the vintage 70's Kiss footage -

Rush was the opening act here and yes they only did four more shows in the Hotter Than Hell outfits, which have never returned again. This show marks the only known occasion where both Rock Bottom and Room Service were performed live during the same show. An announcement was made regarding bad pills circulating in the theater.

This is seriously so exciting. Gene and Paul are never going to release this stuff. I love hearing them when they were YOUNG and HUNGRY. Personally, I think all the albums after Destroyer were mostly filler.

This really is amazing footage. This may have been mentioned already but: the audio and video obviously aren't from the same show. EX: During the first verse of LMGRAR Gene says "Yeah, hah ha" but in the vid he's not near the mic. Same thing before the first solo. He says "rock and roll" Again, he's nowhere near the mic in the film. The audio is obviously from some DTK show but not the one in the film.

Not that it matters. It's still KISS at their BEST!

this is really cool to see!Rock bottom the first song! i wonder if they did the slow guitar intro to? i wish there was more filmed of this show.in the kiss alive forever touring history book it mentions that they also played "room service" at this show to.
