did it reduce or increase the noise from your exhaust? i just got my borla catback put on, im not a big tuner and im looking into this intake but i dont want to reduce my noise
It did not change the exhaust sound at all. The factory catback is very restricted and makes no noise. All the sound is just from the engine. Lots of noise from in front and not much out back. Next on my list is a cat back.
Big difference in power and throttle response. It pulls harder at speeds and chirps when pounding into the throttle while moving. It even help to reduce my 1/4 mile times by a half second. I'd say that's a great improvement from just an intake. Very happy!
Sounds great. I just received mine and was wondering. After leaning the radiator back and installing the intake does the radiator stay in that position and what secures the radiator in place. I've read the instructions and I didn't see anything to resecure the radiator . Thanks. b.t.w. I recently had a borla exhaust installed and I would highly recommend it.
The VaraRam becomes the main support member for the radiator. It still has a slight wiggle which has me a little concerned. I have had it on for 5000 miles and have not noticed any problems with the radiator. Im looking into an exhaust this upcoming spring. Im between the Borla and the Corsa. Glad your happy..... I still havent made up my mind. Thanks for the input!
@jo1012e I used heavy duty zip ties to brace my radiator to the front mounting area. The radiator no longer has that half inch to an inch of play with the Vararam installed.

did you get it tuned after the intake?

Not yet. I am going to get an exhaust in a month or so and a hand held sucerchips programmer for the tune.

@Slyther83 I just got it tuned. I also added a cat back and high flow race cats to the exhaust. The car sounds mean. New vids soon to come.

i love my borla but the noise it makes in 4 cylinder cruise mode is very different than the normal drone and may annoy some people.
